The group of people talking about toxic masculinity are not the ones telling guys to man up

OP's post is objectively correct, it doesn't need credibility. You're the one whos saying it reinforces some narrative that men don't deserve compliments. This sub is full of people literally incapable of perceiving nuance.

Show one top comment that says this. All the comments are saying that not being abusive is the minimum expectation and that you shouldn't expect praise for not being abusive

So you're just going to ignore not only the rest of the posts but the comments in this one post?

You pick one awkward post among hundreds of overtly pro-men posts, and then you ignore the highly upvoted comments in the post pointing out some of the things you would probably have issues with

This could be a selection bias. What is the proportion of men you do this "mating dance" on vs the number of men you don't? I imagine you're not interested in a lot more men than you are interested in, mathematically you'd probably expect to find a lot more men who are interested in you in the larger pool.

Wrong. People expect women not to be funny, which puts pressure on jokes and artificially increases the threshold of what would normally make you laugh. Are you fucking retarded? Everything you just said was just that.

Right, because it's such a ridiculous concept to treat people as people without securing a judgement based of off a preconceived notion. Being a woman doesn't make you not funny, but when people already expect you to not be funny and you're treated your whole life as if your entire gender isn't funny, chances are you won't get opportunity to let that side of your humanity expand, and when women are genuinely funny it's just written off, or they're just mot famous enough for it to matter.

Yeah, and what I noticed is that when there's no expectations or pressure to succeed there's no difference between men and women, you autist. It's stigma, 100%

Interesting, you met some unfunny women before? I guess my point is moot now, sorry.

I'm a guy who grew up with a lot of female influence. The reason "men are funnier than women" is all stigma

This post proves that everyone who upvotes this shit is a fucking neanderthal. I like this subreddit, but this isn't PPD. This is people circlejerking over shit they have no idea of what they're talking about.

IQ hardly varies between any two given people equally educated on average. Not to mention IQ tests are biased towards people with a specific kind of education. Low IQ did not make the country poor. The fact that it is in a hostile and difficult-to-harvest area makes them poor. The country is full of natural resources that are unusable or unattainable, and doesn't have the proper infrastructure to do so. Seriously, TRP is full of the most retarded people I have ever seen. I wish a mod would ban m…
