| 6 | I'm sick an tired of seeing 'women only apply' in job and housing postings. In the US, landlords are not allowed to discriminate by gender. Employers are not either. If you are told you are not qualified as because you are male, report them to the respective labor or housing department. Sadly there are many ways around this. I would suggest getting as far away as you can from whatever town you are in now. | /r/MensRights | 04/04/17 05:10 PM |
| 3 | I'm sick an tired of seeing 'women only apply' in job and housing postings. Were you paid at least minimum wage? If so, you aren't obligated to any tips. You took the job, you knew the terms. Blaming someone else doesn't help you specifically. | /r/MensRights | 04/04/17 05:07 PM |

| 3 | How does feminism determine that masculine and feminine traits are social constructs and not evolved traits? On the provider point: In the distant past, men who could provide, fight, and protect, reproduced. These traits are still hard wired into women, because their ancestors all selected for them. In addition, men taught their sons to provide/fight/protect in order to pass on genes further. These selected factors are still shown in the general public, as successful men also tend to be tall and social. My rule of thumb, If you consider any purchase or loan as a gift, you won't expect anything in return. That comes with the stipulation that you don't get to bitch about said money/gift. Ever. As for ladies, if you aren't interested by Mr. Chivalry, politely decline the gift the first time and say why. | 3 | Is it moral for women to use their femininity to get what they want? This is a perfect example of realizing how to step back and observe the situation rationally. Situation 1: Guy offers a drink in exchange for a chance at the bar. A drink is being traded for x amount of her time. Situation 2: Guy buys drinks unsolicited for a girl all night. He is using the drinks as a way to buy her for the night, and she is using him for free attention. It only gets overtly bad when one party or the other isn't accepting of the contract.
