Does sexting deserve divorce? You need to leave. Get the divorce started yesterday and eventually find someone who will love you and treat you with the respect you currently aren't getting from your wife. She's giving that to another man who isn't her husband right now. You know what you need to do. | /r/Divorce_Men | 08/12/25 07:28 PM
Financial trouble AFTER the divorceThanks for the nice words. It fucking sucks. I feel like everytime I'm free from her, shit like this just keeps popping up | /r/Divorce_Men | 07/04/25 06:53 PM
Financial trouble AFTER the divorceThe bills are 690. Hence, why I'm not willing to hire a lawyer. It's more about setting boundaries on what I'll let her get away with | /r/Divorce_Men | 07/04/25 06:30 PM
Financial trouble AFTER the divorceI'm sure they would be, but it cost me $4 grand to do the divorce. I reached out to them today, but haven't gotten a response (not uncommon) | /r/Divorce_Men | 07/04/25 05:09 PM
Financial trouble AFTER the divorceShe stayed home and raised the kids 🙄 | /r/Divorce_Men | 07/04/25 04:36 PM
Financial trouble AFTER the divorceI appreciate your response, but wouldn't I face legal trouble for NOT paying half of the expenses? For instance, the parenting plan says I have to pay haircuts and shoes 50%, and other things I pay pro rata. If I withhold the money until I recoup the bill amount, wouldn't I technically be violating the agreement myself? | /r/Divorce_Men | 07/04/25 04:36 PM
Financial trouble AFTER the divorceIt no longer is going to her. It was only doing that until the house sold. Once it sold, I started a new account separate of her, and our finances are split totally. I guess I'm mad because I provided the money to pay the bill, but she didn't pay it. I'm afraid they'll just tell me, "Oh well, you were going to have to pay it then, so just pay it now". That pisses me off because now I have a fuck ton of my own bills and this takes away from my new financial obligations | /r/Divorce_Men | 07/04/25 04:33 PM
Financial trouble AFTER the divorceThe lawyer just left because we had reached the end of the divorce and I no longer needed him. It was just the conclusion of services | /r/Divorce_Men | 07/04/25 04:30 PM
Financial trouble AFTER the divorceI would agree, but the problem is that my paychecks were required to go into the joint checking and that everything was maintained the way it usually was. She was able to make all of those credit card payments, and as long as the bills were paid, she could use the "joint" money however she wanted, which the lawyers didn't seem to care about. I have to pay these utility bills to avoid going to collections. | /r/Divorce_Men | 07/04/25 04:21 PM
Temporary Parenting Plan in TennesseeI do like the feel your presence part, got any tips? | /r/Divorce_Men | 07/09/24 01:32 PM
Temporary Parenting Plan in TennesseeHe said that for all intents and purposes, this is the plan that maximizes the time I get the kids. We put it down on a chart, and after splitting holidays and whatnot, this gets me every possible day with the kids that I could have. As for the TPP, he's submitted it to her lawyers. He agrees its best to get the kids on a good routine and get them used to the new normal before the holiday rush. I wish he was more proactive in helping me get the TPP in place. I've brought up the petition in lengt… | /r/Divorce_Men | 06/09/24 11:39 AM
Temporary Parenting Plan in TennesseeI absolutely want 50/50, but again, my work schedule doesn't allow an even 50/50 split. | /r/Divorce_Men | 06/09/24 11:32 AM
Temporary Parenting Plan in TennesseeNo, of course not. My lawyer has told me he'll drag me back to the house if I did anything without a TPP in place first. | /r/Divorce_Men | 06/09/24 11:31 AM
Temporary Parenting Plan in TennesseeWith the way my schedule works, it's ends up on paper more like 60/40 in her favor. Basically, I work half the month, so any days I'm off work, I will get them. The temp plan mirrors what the permanent one would look like. | /r/Divorce_Men | 06/09/24 11:31 AM
