Hahaha, I know it’s not required for you to check every person’s Reddit account that you reply to, but if you had just glanced at my profile you’d quickly realize I am a dude, I used be like you, mad at all these women who had all these options but put in very little effort, frustrated that I couldn’t get a date. but I began to realize I knew a lot of men that ALSO put in very little effort, what I should have said was a lot of people in the west are undatable

This is golden, I’m saving this as a reminder to myself, thank you

Use the attention and validation she gives you to pursue other girls, use this as confirmation that you are attractive and pursue relationships outside of the work place

How far have you gotten? Like do you kiss? What is she wearing usually?

I think the situation speaks for itself, sure you didn’t close, but your confidence to go out by yourself and approach other girls I think was a plus, the redhead approached you and seemed interested. She saw you didn’t have much experience but was still interested enough to give you her number BECAUSE you were confident. I’d say it’s a small win!

Please understand, I’m not referring to unwarranted self love/self confidence. I’m speaking of self confidence that comes from competence, from actual accomplishments. Not some “just be yourself and they’ll like you” because I followed this advice for years and was miserable because of it. I will admit I don’t know your whole life story or who you are. I can only make assumptions. But in my own personal experience, when I was desperate for a relationship I was consumed by porn/drugs. I only SUSP…

I’m not saying your wrong for wanting to be in a relationship, wanting companionship is just human nature. But thinking you NEED a relationship in order to be happy in my opinion is just setting yourself up for failure. And I think it shows how much your actually lacking, you should have goals outside of a relationship that don’t necessarily distract you but fulfill you! Otherwise you may not realize how much pressure you’re putting on another person to make you happy. This reminds me of those t…

I don’t think you can lump those together either, I also think it’s a numbers game, because it is for men. But I don’t approach every attractive girl I see, only in social setting like a bar/party/art pop. I never approach at a grocery store or a bank, that’s just way to intrusive in my opinion. I’m not here to turn every interaction into sex. I’m here to learn how to be more social and now how to show my interest when I do find someone attractive. I hope that makes sense

My biggest problem with your comment is that your equating approach women, as a heterosexual male, with being a sex pest? It’s not like I keep engaging with a person after they make clear they don’t want to talk me, I’d like to clear that up

I totally get that, I will admit it does sounds like I’m trash talk, which I am, only because I was frustrated with my friends. It would be one this if they really trying to have a chill night, but they were on and on about this chick or that chick, showing me pics of other chicks instragrams, all before we left, I just thought it was super weird they didn’t talk to any girls after all that

Totally see where you’re coming from, but I’ll just have to respectfully disagree

I see what your saying, but they wanted to go out! I just had a place we could go. And my problem wasn’t that they didn’t hook up with anybody (I clearly didn’t) it’s that they didn’t socialize at all, they could at the very least have said hi to a couple of people. But that’s just my opinion

Yooo you got this!! It’s the perfect excuse to be like “let me show you around! “

Sure! I try to be in a good mood before I go out! On this particular night I was already pumped because I had worked out and played some smash bros with the bros! Do something that brings you joy whether it be video games, reading, a good tv show, something to lift your spirit! I’ll give you an example of how to playfully flirt, at one point the birthday girl got up on the bar and poured a shot down my throat, of course this was a little messy, and one of her friends came over and was like “oh I…

Thank you, I do think it works for some people to just focus on themselves those when it comes to game, but yeah I’m not that kind of person, I really do enjoy it when everyone is having a good time! Just trying to find a balance!

You’re right! I was trying to get them to Mingo by giving them subtle hints, because I know they can be fun to be around, but I should have been more direct like “dude just talk to some people” but I didn’t want to lay on the pressure to hard, will try to do that in the future

I would say pull back, and live your life? Definitely still be friends but make it apparent you have other stuff going on! If she wants to be included that’s fine, if not, that’s also fine! If she was just using you then she’ll just rotate to the next guy she probably has hanging around!

I do appreciate the positive/negative feedback, I have a lot to improve when it comes to conveying my thoughts/knowing what to sharing. And getting better at that can only improve my text game so it’s a win either way!!

Yes! I’m glad I could get that point across, and I’d rather nobody be jealous of anyone! I just want us all the same level! Because they are cool guys! And I want to have that kind of experience with them!

Thanks bro! I do have a long way to go but I’m so happy with the progress I’ve made, just wanted to share my experience

Thanks for the feedback bro. I know this post sounds like I’m bragging and it’s because I AM, I love my friends, really, but going back like two years when we used to hang out all the time, they would constantly be talking about some new girl they either hooked up with, or some other girl that just won’t leave them alone, and me being the nice guy that I was, I was secretly sooooo jealous. So when we had the opportunity to finally hang out again and go to a bar where we could game, my expectatio…

I will remember this for next time! If my friends aren’t trying to put themselves out there, it’s not gonna stop me!!

It was a learning experience, and I also think it would have been fun if we were all socializing! I know what it feels like to be left out, id prefer not doing it to other people!!

Fair enough, I would like to point out that my friend would brag about being good with girls, but when the situation presented itself, they didn’t do anything. That’s the point I was trying to get across, but I just didn’t word it v well, sorry 😢

No, I was actually being social, they weren’t talking to anybody, and I never said I was better, just trying to put thing into perspective
