They are treated the same. The laws are the same, and the prosecutors and judges use their discretion on a case-by-case basis. If the "victim" doesn't want the person to be charged, and initiated the sexual contact, it's a very difficult case, and the prosecutor and judge take that into account. And they should. The system is fine, it's that people aren't thinking deeply about it because they want to say "it's not faaaaaair" and have the same card to play that the SJW feminists are playing.

It just shows that judges and prosecutors believe in cases involving females that they are less likely to re-offend and they are less likely to be dangerous. For one thing, in cases of females, it's more likely that the "victim" doesn't believe he's a victim at all and doesn't want charges pressed. The main thrust of the sub seems to be that teen boys are victimized by horrible older women who have sex with them and we have to push for harsher penalties for these women. Plenty of guys have avoided prison or charges after having sex with an older teen. The law is the same, but in those cases the prosecution or the judge decided not to press charges or not to imprison them. There are other reasons besides sexism that these decisions are made, within the discretion of the prosecutors and judges. Perhaps though, a higher percentage of the male offenders need to be imprisoned than the female offenders? Often with female offenders, the victim initiates and welcomes the "assault."
