felt this hard man. tried being the "mysterious guy" for months and it was exhausting. couldnt even send normal texts without calculating timing (engineer brain made it worse honestly). breakthrough came when i realized authentic interest is way more attractive than fake scarcity. been using gleam (basically duolingo for social skills) and their text exercises taught me how to be genuine without being needy. the daily practice helped tons. now i can say "hey how was your day" without overthinkin…

honestly depends on context. if she's closer to whatever she wants, probably testing your boundaries. but sometimes people just ask for help (especially if you're already up). i've learned to read the room first... like is she actually thirsty or just seeing if i'll jump when she says jump? trust your gut on this one

been there with the overthinking every interaction. honestly the direct approach works better than subtle hints (learned this the hard way). just ask him for coffee outside work context

approaching strangers irl still terrifies me honestly but had to learn after apps burnt me out too. biggest thing: start with zero expectations (just practice conversations, not getting numbers). pick spots where people aren't rushing (parks > subway). couple things that helped: reading models for mindset shift, been using gleam (basically duolingo for social skills) for conversation starters, practicing on cashiers first. the daily missions pushed me out of comfort zone gradually. nyc is perfec…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
