I made a post here agreeing with OP, but I also agree with everything you said. Maybe I missed it but I don't think OP ever said that it can't be better after college. Mid-twenties with your life all sorted out can lead to some incredible experiences, both with women and otherwise that simply aren't possible where you're a college student, best frat on campus or not. As someone who did not join a fraternity, I agree with everything in this post. The reason I didn't join one is because I literally didn't know what a fraternity/sorority was going in. When I asked people, I got the "you pay for friends" line and thought the idea was crazy. However, being in a fraternity can set you up for life. A lot of my friends now are frat bros. This is a pretty commonly held truth but it's nice that you experienced it and didn't just have someone tell it to you, that way the lesson is better learned.
