Absolutely. Guy seemed nice and I was hoping to befriend another couple but then he has dropped this bomb at me, and I can't look at him the same way, tbh.

If you're a childfree man who absolutely doesn't want to procreate, and yet wants to be in a relationship, locking down a woman who will never give you a crotch goblin, nor drag you into a shady, rapey, coercive breeding cul-de-sac where your two best options are either raising unwanted spawn or paying crippling amounts of child support for the next 20 years, is the one of the biggest achievements you can score. Safety. Love. Trust. Respect. Unless you always wrap it up, bring your own protectio…

I have a "friend" with a long-term partner. This long term partner got pregnant, got 4th-degree tears. Imagine your dick splitting in half from the front, straight to your ass, perineum and everything on the way of the tear. They sewn her somehow but not only will she never have pleasant sex again, but she also has all kinds of incontinences at 30. I'm holding my palm over my mouth even typing this because HOLY FUCK. He has almost cheated on her already, which surely is a scummy thing to do, but…

I had a conversation with a guy who's been barely 17 and had a 19 y.o. girl trying to fuck him, and he absolutely could not see anything shady, if not bordering illegal, about it, so I'm not very surprised. The only thing that has made him upset was that she has got some of her brains back in the end and stopped. He didn't know if she was on the pill and was just trying to find some baby daddy, he didn't know if she had any STDs, nothing. If this isn't a stark reminder that young people are (fro…

I love, desire, respect and understand my partner of (almost) 10 years, and know that he desires me and loves me too, also as a person, but if I have learned that he has "set his physical standards aside" to be with me, it would absolutely destroy me. I find it hard to imagine a woman who would be okay with that but maybe I haven't met the right demographics. Everyone deserves to be the most beautiful.

I have experienced it (17-18 vs 27, for example), and almost all of my female friends from teenage years did (the internet was wild back then, and our parents were pretty helpless) so I'm vehemently against it, and I always advise not to do this. And at least there's somebody out there to tell this to young girls. Young boys (as fucking usual) have nobody, just a circlejerk of morons telling them it's super cool that a much older, much more established woman tried to fuck them when they were in …

Yep, and it's fucking tragic on so many levels. People have to get into unhealthy, shitty deals (still called „relationships” for their peace of mind, although it'd be more fitting to call it „suburban prostitution”) because they have no other choice. Now I see some wondering how much of their marriage is essentially a covert roommate arrangement because singlehood is getting progressively paywalled due to the CoL crisis. Folks cannot divorce spouses they despise, because "it's cheaper to keep h…

Most of our problems are class-related, not gender-related. Troubles with gender are a smokescreen, just like troubles with immigrants and whatnot. A symptom at best, not the illness. If everyone had enough resources, half of our worries would just disappear. He wouldn't need to worry if she likes him only for what you provide materially, she wouldn't need to stay with him, because otherwise she has nowhere to go. Terminally absent fathers from the Boomer generation wouldn't need to grind themse…

Access to meals (labour) for fish (labour) sounds okay. Access to bodies as if they were equally a product to exchange, is dehumanizing, to start with.

I don't know, man, I'm in a happy LTR with an awesome guy, but I do have married friends, single friends, friends with kids, and without, and oh boy, I have OPINIONS after watching what they do and what is happening. For some forming opinions, discussing, and crashing with others, is the second-best thing since sliced bread.

Incontinence? 4 in 10 women. 9 in 10 women will experience tearing to some degree, 6% gets 4th degree tears. More than a third of women experience long term health problems after childbirth, according to WHO: https://www.who.int/news/item/07-12-2023-more-than-a-third-of-women-experience-lasting-health-problems-after-childbirth

"The only difference is gestation, but frankly 9 months of gestation is NOTHING compared to 18+ years of raising a child, or paying child support." Tell this to my friend who's blind now. Or the one who got ripped in four directions and will never have sex that's not excruciatingly painful ever again. Or the one who got through three easy, problem-free pregnancies and still pees herself when laughing at the ripe age of 30. What a demented take.

It's not that easy. Only 1 in 10 women orgasm during ons, the rest is all act. 75% of women don't reach orgasm during intercourse at all. On average, it's way easier to come in a LTR than during a casual encounter, but even then it's not a given.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/24 01:31 PM

A relationship is supposed to make your life better, not worse. It needs to be net positive for it to make any sense. Otherwise, the woman will almost always choose singlehood, and even a divorcee will decide not to remarry/date. If you have spare income and some mopey, underemployed, unambitious dudes are trying to pin you down, they will always be a net negative, unless they will be such woman's emotional/home caretakers or provide otherwise. In any other case, there's absolutely no worth in h…

Mfs prey on us ND women cause they want sex and many of us believe in what we're told. But no dude wants to deal with meltdowns. I'm calling bs, I've lived it my whole life. As for the LTRs, they want the idea of us, not us.

As I said, we were never apart, and we lived in a small studio. I didn’t do anything for all these years either, because it was just physically impossible. I’d need to masturbate while taking a shit, as it was the only time alone, and that’s about it. It was my idea of saving myself from temptations and saving the relationship—never being without him. He was working from home, I was a stay at home partner. He was even willing to open the relationship and was ready to give me half of his house. I…

Jesus, if that's the life you know, that it surely sounds like a nightmare. It's really less of an issue if you have a nicely paid job that you like. Looks more like a class problem than a gender problem to me, tbh.

The first thing my father complained to the judge about when my mom has finally packed and ran, was how much he needs to pay now for all these things that were her "wifely duties", and that it's unsustainable for him, so now he's a poor baby. He did present bills and it was a lot, easily an average salary back then, so she was earning her keep and more, who would've thought. It was after he's spend the last ten years telling her how useless she is, and how nice she has it to be able to stay at h…

As William Costello (an evolutionary psychologist who studies incels) said, women largely prefer to stay single than to stay with a shit partner. In contrast, guys still prefer a shit partner to no partner. I haven't checked what he based it on, nor the methodology, but from my own experience, it seems to be true—only past a certain age. However, I genuinely hope the new generations of girls will be less timid and mousy than we were in the late 2000s and early 2010s, and will feel beautiful and …

When I was much younger, I have settled for a highly incompatible man I had absolutely zero chemistry with, because I didn't wan't to be not nice (this one was big in MANY of my peers, the numbers of doomed relationships that happened only because she was conditioned to be "nice", were CRAZY), because I didn't want to be "shallow” (another big one) and because I believed I'm nothing without a relationship (maaaany girls were functioning almost as if there was some kind of a legal obligation to b…

Prostitution would be more accepted if we weren't all under the constant threat of starvation in case we fail to pay our monthly subscription for survival. I would have way less of a problem with sex work in circumstances where I could reasonably assume that this person is mentally sound, has countless other options for getting a decent level of living, and just wants to do this kind of work, not another one. In all other cases, it always feels a lot like coercion, and it's bad enough when it's …

Looking at dating as if it's a market? Because dick is cheap and available in abundance it doesn't need to be that worried about getting raped or murdered on the first date, and on average we do way better without relationships and live longer than dudes. I disagree with the op, BTW.

My body and my love are holy, the last things that are pure in a completely commodified world. It's a source of comfort to me, therefore I have a very low body count and would never date nor fuck anyone who uses nor sees women like tools to get their sex skill higher. I don't have any problem with LTR-related experiences in amounts relating to mine, but anyone with a regular hoe season behind their belt is an automatic no to me, especially if they want an "unspoiled" (ugh) partner now. I don't w…

Having decent standards is good for everybody involved. Imagine you're 10 years into a relationship and you learn that they accepted you only because they felt like they couldn't pull anyone better. It's instadivorce material, it's dead bedroom guaranteed, regardless of gender.

I’m 34. Never in my life :( But I came to terms with it. I guess I’m just ugly. Which is weird, because I’ve been told that I’m beautiful, but I guess folks just wanted to be nice, I don’t know. It’s really a bit of a cognitive dissonance. Maybe I give off weird vibes, no idea. But it’s okay. I came to terms with my face a long time ago, and put all effort in being interesting. Or at least that was the plan.

If she knows or reasonably suspects that it's important to this guy and may be a deal breaker, and she knowingly hides it to fuck him or does not inquire further to clarify, to convince him to get married/have kids, yeah, that's absolutely a SA. She's hiding a vital piece of info she knows could make him not sleep with her and/or not commit, essentially creating a whole person that doesn't exists. I'm a woman in my 30s. If I cry cause something hurts (and I do), people look at me condescending as if I was a child. I haven't met another woman who would do this, tbh. My whole family is basically women, guys got lost in divorces or to alcoholism, and it's soooo unforgiving, we just can't cry here if you're just sad or unhappy, or something bad happens, you have no idea. I could mabe cry if I got divorced or shit, but that's a situation when (I'd say) any dude is socially allowed to cry as we…

From my experience? Because he wanted me to do or not do certain things he was finding irritating or desirable, while he was doing exactly the same shit he was telling me to stop doing, and not doing what he wanted me to. He was almost 30, I was 17 almost hitting 18. I thought I wanted it but I was just stupid and immature. Took a decade to untangle this shit. You just don't get a chance to develop like a normal kid. Never again. I also try to discourage girls from doing these relationships but I know that my effiectiveness is going to be minimal. I used to be one of them. Don't fuck randos if they are drunk. Never fucking ever, regardless of gender. You may be lucky, or you may not. For now it's especially important to guys but as soon as dudes start reporting cases rape and assault in bigger numbers, it'll become equally risky for us. And all that is on top of the general hideousness of being (accidentally?) violent towards someone, regardless whether they even went to the police or not or destroyed your reputation. My nicely done hair and „a little makeup” takes approx. 1,5–2h. Last time I was getting baleyage and dyeing my grays, it was 4,5h and 1/3 of my rent (in a good salon, so it's done well and dudes can still think that it's all „natural”). If a guy would want to be served this on a regular basis, I could maybe consider... but there's no way I'm the one paying.

I have never ever had a guy telling me in the face that I'm too au naturel/too fat/too thin/not funny enough/whatever. They never did the "ew, drop some weight / put some concealer on, hobo" thing – BUT just went away to pick someone else instead, plain and simple. In the end my romantic interests in my teenage years and early 20s were always going for the alternatives who were: more groomed, including make up, and it was dead clear. Perhaps it says more about you than about all these women who were in the sample group, bruh. The only argument that's somewhat coherent. Again, equating exciting life with happiness sounds like a you thing. I love my mediocre, average existence. I'm (as it turns out) an autistic woman who has been dating both ND and NT guys. In hindsight pretty much all of my NT partners were a handful, and the ND ones were just unbearable because I had to do all the caretaking that was expected of me in an NT relationship person PLUS I was getting none of the cuddles nor the non-sexual intimacy that was making my ND relationships rewarding. Basically you end up feeling like an unpaid therapist/case worker. To be absolutely honest, I need a lot of suppo…

Dating late bloomers is as dangerous as dating non-hating 1ncels who were just unlucky or, as you write, autistic. Could be different if our culture was different, but when so many guys tie their self-esteem to the fact whether they are in a relationship or not, such people are just extremely risky as potential partners. It can be the best thing ever but you will never be 100% sure if you're his true love or a trial gf before he upgrades, to put it brutally. And the moment you get to know that y…
