When I saw that I wondered about that show. I have heard in the past there have been claims that "The Mindy Project" has some misandry. They may have not meant ill intent out of it as I seen a lot of much worse things in comedies that nobody has complained publicly so far that I know. But you make a good point. If the genders were switched it would probably be met with worse reactions. This could just be in a very suddle way an example of how they think women have authority over men.

I would see her other videos though. In one of her videos she says she says she has a girlfriend. Her attitude in particular is something I find to be very suspicious really. It makes me wonder exactly what the intent of these videos really is from a psychological point of view.

I wish I knew exactly how everything had transpired so I could tell if this was warranted or not. My likely guess was he was not very careful how he worded things, but the teachers may have perceived him as a misogynist. Another thing too I noticed is that this guys is a black skinned guy in his 20s or so. I don't think people should be stigmatizing this sort of thing is a good idea even if theoretically it is a form of sexism. My main reason for this is because I lost of men will get very nervous to do certain kinds of good acts towards women. I could even argue that it is sexist that there are gender specific forms of chivalry only towards women and not towards men and this was incited by women. What if its simply just foreplay and the woman happens to like it?

He should have tried to word all his arguments in the most kind and consider way possible then this probably would not have even happened to start with. Rape is a very delicate issue and he was warned repeatedly. I don't think the teacher banned him from discussion due entirely to what he was saying, but how he might have been saying it.

It is so wonderful to hear this coming from a smart educated woman who is a feminist. After watching this video I am starting to feel less negatively about feminists. Maybe feminists are not the issue, but its bias, instigation, projected ideas and hatred towards on occasion that gets people defensive. I think she provides great insight.

Whenever I hear of something like this happening I feel very sad. There was someone who my friend was telling me about had a girlfriend. He was a approached by a girl who wanted to date him in school. He resisted and told her that he had a girlfriend. She did not take it very well and decided to false accuse him of rape. He got kicked out of school for about 2 months and in trouble with the police for a while then she eventually decided to confess she false accused him.
