I have never ignored the ways men suffer in this world by drawing attention to the ways women do. I have spent a lot of time with male victims of sexual violence, domestic violence and those who have attempted suicide. I understand why, when you read things like this, you could hate this woman's idea of feminism. However please know there are plenty of us out there that think nothing like this. I have never expected a man to pay for me on a date, I will always ask a guy out if I am interested and then pay (unless we split) and I hate the concept of acting like a 'lady' or a 'gentleman.'
