You sound like you spend all your time breaking down these complicated social dynamics and not much time actually involving yourself in them. If you want to be all academic about it, then just keep enjoying yourself I guess, but a lot of guys get their buzz from figuring out a problem but don't have the balls to execute and so they end up with no action...but like you said, you don't have much interest in getting laid...it's just odd. I don't really know what you're asking anymore.

a) Why would you not just organise going out at work and not texting her? b) Personally I think no-fap is only really helpful for guys who have an actual masturbation problem, as someone who doesn't, I've tried it 5 or 6 times and I've not felt any major difference, so unless you have some masturbation issue you need to get over, get laid.

That's fair enough to be honest, if you're doing it for the challenge side of things I can totally understand that feeling and I agree, but it doesn't apply to OP. If you're that level of self confident, you aren't asking this question on an online forum :)

If I'm with my family and some dude comes up and starts talking to my sister/cousin/etc at my table, it's not gonna last long. We've come out for a family meal, not for some dude to hit on my (enter female family member here). Guys are protective over their sisters/cousins/etc, family time is not the time to be hitting on them, especially if you don't even know them yet. It's simply bad logistics, there's no point fighting logistics, you never win lose/lose battles.

TRP=/= Seddit, they're very different in one basic way, intent. If you have good intentions, the stuff in seddit is positive, it helps people and very few people can argue that if you use this material with good intentions it's a positive move. TRP has negative intentions ingrained, and that's why I think it's pretty despicable. If you have bad intentions, it doesn't matter what you read, you're gonna do some fucked up shit that girls don't like. That is maybe a reason for trying to dampen the s…

Honestly? Just don't, there's millions more of them, it's just not worth the logistical hassle. If you were there with a friend and she was there with a friend, if the eye contact is blatant to both of you, shoot her a wave, see what she does. If she seems receptive you could go over and say hi and move forward from there. If not, just leave it. Logistics are a bitch sometimes...

Man, I have experience with this, it's on the opposite side, but the way you deal with it is the same. Girl from work (bar), didn't tell me she was in a relationship for the week we flirted relentlessly. We finally we go out as a group from work (dates don't work when you work at the same bar, you're always on different shifts, working together, tired from working till 4am or busy), I pull her aside to make out and...'I can't...I have a boyfriend.' She didn't tell me intentionally because she li…

Don't do it. If the exception comes up where it's appropriate, it will be because she's taken the lead and given you her number, you're not giving anyone your number or hitting on anyone at work. That being said, part of your job is to be friendly, charming, fun and being attractive doesn't help either, so keep doing that. If a girl is blatantly interested, even she knows it's not appropriate for you to hit on her while you're working, so just do your thing and if something happens, it happens, …

It's an analogy dude, a way of thinking about something to make it simpler to understand to those who haven't done all of the background research, and it makes sense, even as someone who doesn't need to understand things through analogies, this is the way I explain things to my friends that need a push in the right direction, and it works. This gives you a frame to jump into that you're already familiar with, instead of the frame of hitting on a girl you don't know, which is daunting at first. T…

You need to explain why you want to do this more, not because you need to justify you're not being a dick, but because there's different ways this could be playing out, and currently everyone is having their own guess at what that is. What exactly is it that you want to stop? Why do you want to stop it? (What) Have you tried so far?

If you feel like a) she's just doing it for the drinks and b) you don't mind taking the pocket hit, tell her 'Look, this is starting to get a bit shady, potentially starting fights and stuff, stop doing it, if you want a drink I'll get you one'. If she's legit, she won't bat an eyelid at it.

It's definitely not 9 out of 10 girls in England.

Oh for sure. Girls who you look at from a distance will always look hotter, because something as tiny as an accent or the way you can see her bra through her top up close can turn you off, or on. This is why celebrities seem so hot, you never see a moment of their flaws, only their amazingness. Examples: The photo Russell Brand took of Katy Perry when she was in bed, and also the first time I saw Kate Upton speaking on a talk show sent her from goddess to a 7 at best because she seemed to have t…

Agree on the first point, and you are right in a way, I should have clarified. I was referring to women's emotional self, there is far more that goes on in a woman's mind during interactions than we give them credit for, they feel things that guys quite simply ignore. That is what I think we need to give more respect to, but as for women often being no where near attractive people as they are hot, I definitely agree. Drunk girls with no options are how ugly guys with no game get laid, as soon as…

I'm good looking and these are my experiences: I find it varies between girls and how much time they've spent around you. In the short run, the good looking guy will come out on top, but if you're talking to a girl for more than 10 minutes and you're more fun/interesting/whatever than the good looking dude, you will win out. Sometimes equally fun and the fact that you're present and he isn't is enough for you to come out a winner (i.e. sometimes looks don't matter). I've lost out to some dudes t…

Nice. What kind of stuff do you get up to around there? I was there for a couple of weeks doing an internship just now but spent most of my time in other areas.

I never thought of it like that. I've had shitty flatmates before but I never thought he'd be that guy. Fortunately I do have people who fit the bill perfectly. Still leaves a bad taste in my mouth a bit though. London is definitely fun, there's probably more different types of people here than most other capital cities. Not that other cities aren't metropolitan, but London takes it to another level from my observation. There's not just lots of different types of people, but the people who aren'…

Yeah, I'm never just going to just drop my friends, but they're a big part of my life and I was hoping it could stay that way.
