2	I try really hard to think that feminism is trying to be equal, and just forget men's issues, and some are like that. I know some. Trust me. But it's hard to fight for equality when this is the first rule on their subreddit. Okay so let’s just assume that’s true and the wage gap is simply based on choices by women in the American economy at large. This is still an issue. Why is it that women are not being given similar jobs and similar opportunities of work. You could argue this again is choice but I highly doubt women want to have jobs that pay 11% worse than men. So the issue then becomes enabling women to hold better paying jobs alongside their male counterparts. Maybe it’s education differences or STEM openings …	/r/MensRights	30/07/19 03:54 AM

But it's hard to fight for equality when this is the first rule on their subreddit. It’s equality they’re asking for. They want to be able to live the way you and I do every day. It’s hard to see how other people struggle sometimes when you’re the one privileged. Feminism is fighting for the wage gap to close and that’s really great for women. Once that’s done feminists and meninists will hopefully conjoin and raise the wages of all workers together. This is because females have been seen as a lower class of human for the majority of western civilization. They want to get to the same level of acceptance as males and over the past century have made a lot of progress.
