I'm less concerned about the numbers than I am about the fact that the military tries to cover it up so they don't look bad. Rape is bad enough, pretending it isn't happening is horrible. This is something that does need to be addressed, if exaggerated numbers make the military commanders red enough in the face to do something about this, I might be assuaged to let it slide.

A classic example of people wanting to destroy things they don't find agreeable. If the employees didn't like it, they wouldn't work there(there's plenty of other cleaning services out there) and if the customers didn't like it they wouldn't give them business. Truthfully, if it becomes mandated there will likely be an expectation for the insurance companies to pick up the bill. At worst it'd be co-pay deal. The way it was presented to me in another thread(oddly doesn't show up in the OP list), was that if a father doesn't want to be tested then they are still being forced to surrender DNA for no reason other than this law says so. It might only work out as an opt out, which I think would be sad.
