Care to explain because I understood libertarian to be small goverment, no goverment interference in regulations etc, Personal freedoms. Now correct me if I am wrong but isn't that exacly what is happening in Angola, do you think everyone is just going to be good and behave without regulation, because what happens when there are no regulations is that the rich and powerfull run amock to the detriment of everyone else.

Angola is as close to Libertarian as you can get, rich foreign oil companies run the goverment, there is no strong rule of law, therefore corruption is everywhere. People are free, which human nature being the way it is means they are free to be assholes.

I know that the constitution can be ammended but I would argue that is should be ammended more often than it has done. There will always be the type of person who is against any changed to the constitution no matter what, this is a hinderance to progress in my opinion. I would guess that you haven't been to Europe, specifically the Scandanavian countries are like a Utopia compared to the US. Ok fair enough I just don't see any evidence to back up Libertarianism despite so many people being 100% for it, I dont understand where these feelings come from and to me it sounds like the type of system they have in African and other third world countries and they dont appear too successfull.

I do admire Ron Paul for being independent and sticking to his own opinions, however some of his policies I find a little dangerous, also why should anyone give a damn about the constitution, it was writen in a time that bears no resemblence to our own, I always find it funny how you treat the constitution as sacred.
