I don't know if that was an actual conscious plan, but for some reason men's forums usually tend to move that way. Kind of makes you wonder.

Honestly, the fact that they decided to leave without being banned is the only way to win that particular thing. Reddit has been quite clear in its actions to ban women groups speaking about women things, politics etc. In this way, at least these MRAs are entirely wrong. FDS did not get banned. And I would like it to stay that way. I too loved the subreddit, but it is on a platform that is entirely hostile to women. It is not feasible. We will have to reach women in a different way.

I completely understand. Considering the comments above and my own experiences, keep doing what you feel is fulfilling to you (like your career). Find some good friends, get a pet. Do some reading or find a hobby that you enjoy. If you do find a man who treats you right, then by all means, try it out if YOU want to. But don't settle for someone who will not be good to you, because that will bring a lot of pain to your life and not nearly enough good things to weigh up for it.

This is my experience too. I was horrified after my divorce to find that not a single one of my male friends were actually friends to me. They all just tried to get in my pants immediately after I threw my ex-husband out, and completely ignored that I was in a bad place and hurting. None of them even remotely cared about my well-being. I will not be making that mistake again.
