Yep. The amount of effort that goes into it isn't worth the hassle. If you feel like your relationship isn't fulfilling enough and that you want to see what else is out there, just end the relationship and go do whatever it is you want.

In a way they are compensated by the very fact that they have the option to leave their job and be a homemaker. I love how we claim that the choice of being a homemaker no longer carries with it the responsibility that someone else now is carrying a 100% of the financial load for you.

Considering the lopsided divorce rates when a man loses his job vs when a woman loses her job would suggest that women are far more materialistic and selfish. Also consider the women are far more willing to blow up the marriage for her own "happiness" - while at the same time parroting the claim that it's supposed to he a pah-tur-nur-sheep.
