I do think that despite what is claimed, women are more drawn to a man's appearance than his personality. I know women whose partners are lowlife by all other metrics, even down to being convicted drug dealers. Yet they have the looks. Claiming they are not motivated by looks is patently false.

Literally 0, unless you count a misguided fling with someone that lasted 3 months. I don't think I'm that unusual. In the last month alone I've had comments like 'why haven't you met someone' or 'you deserve to have someone' so other people must see me as worthwhile of someone's time and effort. However, I have never had anyone interested in me.

Tried it with two friend of mine, one male, one female. My male friend has spent about 7 years on apps and scored about two real life dates that didn't result in anything. He puts max effort into his photos and prompts etc. In the same time period I personally failed to score a single date from OLD. Our female friend signed up to tinder a month ago. Within 48 hours she had 100+ likes and she's been on three dates with the same guy. The two experiences are worlds apart.

Yeah I miss those days. Got banned from the Reddit '/dating' sub for calling out entitled behaviour from a female and told I was a 'raging mysogynist' by the mods. Strage times.

I think its worse than the narrative, at least in my experience. Most complain they can't find a connection when dating, or end up dating people that ghost them, or dates that are horror stories, or dates that they like but don't like them etc. For some, it's impossible to even get dates in the first place and those people seem to get lost or ignored (or I'm in a very much smaller group than I thought lol). I tend to go five or six years between dates actually getting set up. The very worst thin…

I concur. Some just aren't attractive or desirable to women no matter what they change or their outlook. It isn't a 'woe is me' self-pitying negative outlook, merely a statement of fact. I have been in this category for my entire adult life.

I have to agree with the second part of your statement there. As a man whonis very much in that second of your mentioned groups, it is pretty crushing to reach your mid-thirties and realise that you can't blame the law of averages any longer. If you've never been seen as a potential prospect by a woman by then, you'll likely never be. I have never found someone willing to go on a date with me.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
