What did you do?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/25 06:14 PM

I was reading a forum thread that was saying most things women do in relationships is trading sex for a benefit, and that's akin to prostitution. Like when we're dating and the man pays for everything, and we inch closer to intimacy until we get what we need and then do it. Or how the engagement ring and wedding ring and his future income are in exchange for a promise to be a fully willing sex partner. I just never saw any of this stuff as wrong. But this thread was making it sound like it's pro…
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/25 06:13 PM

Anyone else here ever do anything close to prostitution?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/25 06:01 PM
1

Sorry
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/25 03:46 PM

You're only going to be sleeping with a man you're attracted to anyway. I mean in terms of a relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/25 03:01 PM

They are attractive, but I think women like different things at different times. So I think successful men learn to adapt. For example, when women ovulate they often like masculinity in the extremes. Some women are turned on by aggression in men and rougher sex when they're ovulating but then would be upset at other times if he acted that way. So being able to change as needed is good. A good amount of women do not ovulate because they're on birth control, so not sure how that figures into it. A…
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/25 02:57 PM

- NOT sexually attracted to kindness, attention or dedication. Not all sex is about F-ing. Kindness, attention and dedication is part of what makes for a solid relationship. When a man treats you well it inspires making love. Not all that angry stuff.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/25 02:16 PM

That's not fair
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/25 01:57 PM

What are we like dear sir?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/25 01:51 PM

I hope you are joking about proposing. Because once you propose you wouldn't ghost. You have to become more considerate my friend. You are going to leave dead bodies with these tactics.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/25 02:03 PM
2

Yes. Ghosting will lead someone more quickly into the arms of another person. Ignoring someone for weeks at a time sends also the message she can never rely on you again.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/25 02:54 AM

You ghosted. She had to find a new man.

New thread. New dread.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/25 11:31 PM

Congrats on the new baby! Seeds make a great baby shower gift for mama bird. We have a suet feeder. We have about 4 pileated woodpeckers that come by at different times. They have a loud squawk they like to do when they arrive at the feeder. Just wish they would stop pecking at my house.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/25 11:27 PM

Every PPD thread just becomes a dumpster fire.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/25 08:09 PM

How many people in your trunk right now?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/25 06:28 PM

I don't understand what you mean.

This guy is not handsome to me. I also would not respect him. He probably has a bevvy of dudes that keep him paid as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/25 02:00 PM

lmao
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/25 01:49 PM

It's what we're naturally attracted to. A submissive man does not make a flower dewy.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/25 01:48 PM

I agree. It's normal as heteros want our opposites.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/25 01:41 PM
1

It's sad that we are using the term "masculine" to define some women and women seem okay with seeing themselves that way.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/25 01:40 PM

What's wrong with being submissive? To me that feels feminine.

No, but it's just funny that it's in so many of his comments.

Where is BMI 19-21 fetish guy?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/25 01:24 AM

Some men really know they want to marry you that fast. My best friend's other best friend was married two weeks after meeting her dude.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/25 01:21 AM
2

The level of delusion in some PPD posts is insane.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/25 01:18 AM

Ahh. I hadn't thought of that. Feminists have messed up a lot of minds. And isn't sexual attraction of men toward women normal to be somewhat predatory? Isn't that part of biology? Going about catching the one you want.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/25 05:37 PM

Do men ever grapple with sexual shame? Been married 12 years and only recently started asking him to act out grape fantasies I've had forever. I couldn't let it out before now. Now I'm still embarrassed.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/25 05:24 PM

Just curious
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/25 03:49 AM

I call my husband "daddy." What do you call your S/O?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/25 03:45 AM

I met my husband focusing on other things.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/25 11:29 PM

When you are crazy enough about someone to want to marry them you will generally not care to contact anyone else.

Every woman's nightmare
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/25 06:16 PM

Things I did in the past when I saw a guy I was interested in: I would just drop something by him and he would pick it up for me. Or if I was feeling really friendly I would just say hello and ask for some quick help with something. Other things too, but those are some nice tricks.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/25 05:35 PM

Men that use body language power moves early on to intimidate, like puffing their chest out while you're in a corner or by a wall. Someone who's grabby. Someone who talks too fast and doesn't wait for your responses.

Yes, red flags
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/25 11:44 AM

I think I replied to the wrong comment. This was for OP who said he had bottom of the barrel standards, which I really doubt.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/25 11:41 AM

That's not bottom enough. How about some kids, baby daddy drama, a smoking or drinking habit, etc?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/25 03:13 AM

Describe bottom barrel standards please?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/25 02:11 AM

I haven't worked in years. Best decision ever. I don't know why so many women are career crazy.

Red flags
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/25 11:47 PM

I'm in the midwest. Jocks aren't bigger here than anywhere else. I guess if you're a sporty girl you probably like sporty guys though.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/25 11:46 PM

Never liked jocks, and certainly not men that wear baseball caps backwards.

I'd be okay with it. My husband has a hobby or two that gets into a lot of our conversations and parts of our lives. I just acknowledge and let it go.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/25 07:02 PM
2

No. I was extremely close to my dad. And my mom wasn't very maternal. They are still married. My dad did a lot of that stuff with me. As long as you and your wife agree, it's all good.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/25 07:00 PM

Total non starter in that case.

She just wants to get some healthy cues about him first before going out. Some men don't understand any kind of demureness though. They just want to shove ahead. At the end this guy showed signs he would always be the impatient kind.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/25 06:38 PM

Where do you see that though?

Yes, unless you have crash bars / grill guard. Usually you just see pickup trucks with those.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/25 05:34 PM

It's definitely tough to see. We also see skunks and groundhogs dead on the roads or near them. Sometimes see the vultures nibbling at them too. It's terrible.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/25 05:30 PM

My husband was a stranger. I never met anyone romantically through my group because I was someone with a couple of friends scattered here and there. I also reinvented my life a few times over and never stayed around the same people very long. For me meeting someone through a friend group means everyone will know your business, you'll have to answer for everything they find out about you, if you make a mistake you'll always be remembered for it, and a general feeling about just being stuck. I'm g…

I am an HFH. hoe for hubby. I think hoes generally but not always like men more!
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/25 02:14 PM

That men are generally privileged. Only the minority are in this position.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/25 04:36 AM

Single people taking advice from people in love can either make you feel optimistic or annoyed. If you need the hope then the optimism is great. But if you're tired of everyone else being in love then it's just annoying. As a married woman I only take advice from other people who have been married a long time. I've had divorced women give me advice that would have me divorced in no time. But I've also had a married feminist type give me unsolicited advice that was downright opposed to my marriag…

You've got the right mindset IMO. I'm totally trad and married. I think men should generally be forward like that. If it's a red flag then the woman just wouldn't be the right one for you.

No lol. I'm married. Just way too into online drama.

My dad was and is a highly accountable man. I had to learn only men that like or love you are really accountable to you. I don't think most people are generally accountable unless there is a carrot/stick involved. Otherwise change/growth is usually not possible IMO unless it's something someone wants from inside of himself. I don't think mysogyny changes any of these factors. In most cases you can expect a grown man to always be who he already is.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/25 10:44 PM

You mean dudes being angry and rapey?

It's the traditionalism associated with it for me rather than it being fashionable.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/25 09:51 PM

I'm jealous of Mennonite, Amish, and FLDS women. I love their traditional dresses. I would be so out of place wearing that stuff. So I have to settle for my regular long skirts and dresses.

/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/25 08:29 PM

I was engaged to a different man once. He was so into the wedding planning I thought he was gay. He wanted a big wedding too. His parents were getting too involved as well. I am a shy woman and wanted to get married either by ourselves or just with parents. I don't like all that drama.

This is giving me serial killer vibes.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/25 06:30 PM

How has he changed?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/25 05:51 PM

Under normal circumstances, no. I think there are complex issues going on when women stay with an abuser. I don't like the term incel because I don't think being a bachelor should be demeaned. But there are incels that abuse or kill women as well.

I'm an antiquated traditionalist.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/25 04:13 PM

When I was in uni I was exposed for the first time to radical feminism. Could not believe how out of touch these women were. They held a campus rally for a student who put her newborn infant in a trash bag in a dorm bathroom. They would say things like men should only be utilized for reproduction and that's it. I don't see how women that young could already hate men so much.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/25 03:46 PM

I don't know any woman who wants to be beaten violently. That's not being a Chad. That's being a psychopath.

Ragebait
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/25 03:22 PM

It sounds like he'd be on the defensive fast in a relationship. Some shorter dudes are scary intense. The leader of Scientology, David Miscavige is about 5'3. /r/PurplePillDebate31/05/25 10:35 PM

I don't know what people consider tall here, but basketball player height, for example, is gross. All these scary arm and leg appendages reaching out like insect antennae. The tallest man I ever dated was 5'11 and he was lanky too. I didn't like that combination. All I could see was gristle and God help me when he didn't trim his nails it like looked like chicken talons reaching across the table.

I'm sure there is a lady out there needing saving!
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/25 10:12 PM

A woman might get a lot of first dates but many things can go bad, which means dating is not easy for women: He doesn't ask her out again. He is too handsy or talks about weird fetishes. He is cheap and doesn't expect to pay for dinner. He doesn't show up. He smells bad, etc. What is the use of all these dates if so many are fruitless?
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/25 09:53 PM

Is pretending to like a man's hobby coercion? I kept that one up for years. But seriously there are men that go to nightclubs with high end rental cars so women think they're rich. You know what happens after that.

What kind? My husband likes to mix Crown Royal with Disaronno. I don't know anyone else that does this.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/25 02:44 PM

That is amazing! I'm scared you're going to say ice climbing too 😱
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/25 02:42 PM

I'd like to see how his life was in the Air Force. He was in his early 20s then and was probably really boyishly handsome. What about you?
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/25 12:41 PM

My sister and niece are both attractive women and really independent. Sister (quite a bit older than me) was widowed at a young age, and niece is highly educated. Niece has had 4 relationships that she thought would lead to marriage but for some reason didn't. They live together and don't appear to be pursuing relationships. I always wondered how 4 relationships in a row that seemed promising could fall apart. They are prettier than me, however, I've never been single very long. I am not indepen…

This is why it's better to hang out by yourselves as a couple. My husband and I rarely bring anyone around that isn't a relative. It helps that we are loners. I didn't even let my single female cousin stay with us before I was married. She needed a place to stay while traveling through the area. I had never met her before either. I told her we were going to be out. Temptation is everywhere for both women and men.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/25 12:01 PM

We used to just call them bachelors. I think it gives some guys an unneeded complex about being single.

I make decaf in a coffee maker. Having my morning cup now with whole milk I never tried steeped coffee. Do you make it on the stove?

Yes. All of the above occupations also happen to be dangerous if you don't heed a lot of safety regulations.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/25 11:15 PM

Waitress, nurse, maid. I don't know lol ... I don't want to say skrippers, hookers, etc because that's too overt. What is your opinion?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/25 11:07 PM
1

lmao that's terrible, assuming the worst 🤣
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/25 11:04 PM

I'm not cheap. I just like men doing manual work that runs the world. My husband was a jet mechanic in the military, so I'm prejudiced.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/25 11:02 PM

I'm a heterosexual woman though. I'm not sure I have the answer for that?!
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/25 10:59 PM

Yess!
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/25 10:57 PM

LOL why do you say? I don't even go to nail salons.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/25 10:57 PM

This is great for staying out of trouble, and I agree it's healthiest to let go of anger. But where is the passion? The red meat savagery? A man shouldn't pursue a woman?

Academia is the worst for pushing feminism. Just when people are at their youngest, most fertile, and surrounded by the opposite sex, they end up surrounded by professors teaching radical ideology.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/25 10:29 PM

Being a feminist has to be the worst. You scare off all the D. Then when you want a man they are nowhere to be found. And I don't get the whole male feminist thing. I would be so turned off by a male feminist.

/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/25 07:43 PM

It's okay if it didn't work out. You tried. I've made so many mistakes in the realm of work and also love, around people that I was friends/colleagues with. I felt embarrassed over things I did for years, But eventually people move on to new gossip in a couple of months. One day you won't even know these people anymore and you can start over.

/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/25 07:28 PM

lmao are you saying we are like this killer chick?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/25 07:21 PM

I think this is cute for a couple really low on funds. Some couples have no rings. My parents have no rings. They've been married for over 50 years. My best friend and her hubby got married quickly at 21 without rings. Still married after over 20 years.

This is cute.

Why does so much on social media make women look crazy? This woman looks like she's about to be violent with him. If I'm angry I don't get close to my husband like that.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/25 07:04 PM

Just looked and yikes, not funny. I saw a bunch of women praising another woman on Reddit yesterday when she was proud that her BF punched a guy who said something racist. It's like, yeah, encouraging and praising dudes for assault gets them headed straight to jail. I thought that was irresponsible.

The problem is that sometimes mental illness related to trauma causes people to put themselves in the same situation again. They aren't always in control.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/25 04:56 PM

I think we're trying to console someone after they've been injured. But men are more concerned about preventing the problem.

Next time you see her look her in the face. See if her eyes travel to look at other parts of your face (like your eyebrows, nose mouth). Oftentimes when we find someone physically attractive we try to take in their features more. Men and women both do this.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/25 03:54 PM
1

I think your sentence got cut off ...
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/25 03:15 PM

I think many women will relate to your statement. I am only tougher when it's required but I absolutely hate it.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/25 03:14 PM
1

Yes. I am married now but I think I was the first one to initiate talking with my husband online. He did the rest pretty much. He kept a cool, calm attitude, which I liked, but basically did the chasing. Do you have a girl that has expressed interest in you?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/25 03:11 PM

This is a nice image though.

Do any other women here feel really feminine? I feel really outdated sometimes. I don't like women's competitive sports, tough jobs, cursing, etc. I feel most women are much more aggressive than me.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/25 02:59 PM

I only go to women doctors in general if I can help it. I like the empathy women doctors usually have. Male doctors seem to be cold. It's probably one of the only things I prefer women over men for. Men are great in most other fields IMO.

I'm so scared when I see other girls at the gym doing heavy lifting. Like why?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/25 02:33 PM
2

I think most of us want the guy to make the first move, the guy to do the chasing in general. But sometimes that chasing is just because they target you for a bop and that's all. But if a woman initiates subtle flirting and has the eyes on him first and he follows through it feels safer.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/25 02:29 PM
1

I agree. There is a lot of wasted time in job hunting. When I got my first job after graduating uni I had to go through four interviews just to get hired.

🤣
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/25 02:19 PM

I agree most probably like a traditionally attractive woman. The different kinds of women they talk about are probably more about fetishes, something they only think about in the heat of the moment and don't want to seriously date or marry.

I saw on the news a 25 year old man was arrested for being in high school. I felt so bad for him. Thought he just wanted a place to belong. But the consensus is he could be a drug dealer or m*lester. Why did I think the most innocent reason instead of the worst?

Masculinity all the way!
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/25 12:55 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/25 12:53 AM

🤣
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/25 12:46 AM

Do all straight men consider themselves to be masculine? Do I as a woman have a much higher threshold for what I consider masculine to be in a man? Is that wrong?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/25 12:16 AM

Wait, is this a real question? Why would she be looking at his underwear unless she's washing them?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/25 11:59 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/25 11:55 PM

I'm a conservative woman and I think conservative men are just going for whose chemistry they mesh with, no matter what politics they might have. I don't think most men care about women's politics except if it becomes an argument starter and something a couple can't get past. I've always ended up with conservative guys myself.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/25 11:53 PM

I was engaged to a virgin dude a couple of years before I met my husband. I was always weirded out that he never made moves on me beyond basic kissing. He lived with his parents but had a great job and good personality. But I didn't feel much physical attraction to him. I also felt like I was the dominant one in the relationship and I didn't like that feeling. We were around 30 years old at the time. I think there are a lot of women that are okay with a virgin man, especially if they are virgins…

/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/25 11:19 PM

We get the sirens for tornado warnings a few times a year but they are usually just quick small spin-ups.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/25 08:27 PM

Is it the same thing?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/25 08:24 PM

Do you have outdoor sirens in Cali? We have outdoor tornado sirens. They sound like really loud British police sirens.

/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/25 06:57 PM

Kids should always have chores. You can only work in the USA at a job at 14 years of age, unless you're working for your parents. Then there is no age minimum. People were more responsible when they had jobs as kids. Most haven't done that since the 1930s

He's just another deadbeat and not handsome at all IMO. What kind of women are salivating over this?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/25 06:40 PM

Now that's a man in love.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/25 06:33 PM

Yes, that is normal for us too. Like you, I also don't do the power play thing on my husband if we are in a non male dominant position. It's just something for variety. I have to confess I don't like it as much though.

When I was dating only once did a man accept my offer to pay half. He was super douchey though, and yes it was a turnoff. Other than that even when a guy didn't ask me out again they always paid. I don't think this point is related to my topic though because shaming of women over this goes to such a deep place of personal value. Even if a guy in the beginning acts like he accepts a number he can always hold it against her in the future by calling her cheap names in an argument. Having a low N co…

Where did you see me say anything bad about fellow Americans? I lived two-thirds of my life in Philadelphia and am well aware of what the "big city" is like. I chose to move to a rural area for quality of life and to get away from the cesspool that is city life. You have obviously lived a very protected existence if you think there is no incest, tooth decay, drunkenness, and shooting in the inner city. In fact, it's in your face there.

I have to say I haven't heard of any of this. So I'm out of it. I have a traditional marriage. I'm a housewife. I live in the mid-west. Lots of us here have just husbands that bring home money. Aren't twinks and femboys gay? I'm sure straight women aren't seeking out men that aren't after V. When you live in a rural area like I do you have a lot of rugged men that do hard physical labor and are skillful in many necessary trades. I doubt anyone is replacing them. Soy can never really replace red …

If she says she's cold and he doesn't offer the jacket then she 1) won't go on a second date with him and 2) he doesn't like her so he wouldn't ask her out again. If he's freezing in the wind then she surely would be. So if he asks for the jacket back in the freezing cold then again no second date.

/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/25 04:40 PM

If some men want to weaponize it as a tool of social survival then it shouldn't count as a lie because it's an irrational expectation. I think as long as a person is disease-free then the other person isn't really "getting into" anything. I mean it's just ghosts of the past that don't matter anymore.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/25 04:38 PM

When men sit across from women and ask them their N count you can just see that hamster wheel turning in his head thinking up how he's going to judge the poor girl. In the end a high N count should never be reported to a man who thinks this is a really important factor for a long-term relationship. This is because it might be used to keep women from a mutually beneficial marriage and jeopardize her future. A woman's N count should not include partners with only with only the following activities…

If it's a dealbreaker then nothing will change that. And I don't blame anyone for not wanting it. I didn't want a man with children myself. One of my first serious relationships involved a young divorced man with kids, however. He was a great dad but the kids were not mine. And when it came to certain topics it was emphasized I was not a very important factor. I never meant to stay with him. I learned with just having long hair and wearing skirts or dresses that men behaved differently around me. The more feminine I looked (not in a revealing way) the more men become more aggressive. Some would make inappropriate comments. I would say right then and there they are being objectifying.

Either remarried or in long term relationships, except for one. The one is with a foreign man who appears to still be too attached to his ex-wife. A woman that doesn't want to be alone just has to use honey to attract men. Honey meaning being friendly, open, and respectful to men.

From a female RP perspective: To begin with the idea that what people have coined HVM is usually just a passing thought in women's heads. When a woman meets a guy she has chemistry with and has decent qualities, he becomes her HVM. I have never known any of my single mother friends to not have men in their lives. 30 is pretty young, unless you are a guy that's around 30 or younger, then that age is just the norm for you. I've seen a number of factors that lead men to single women with kids. Alth…

It's a slippery slope for both perhaps. Sometimes a man can really get you upset but if she's with someone she's really attracted to he usually has enough intimidation factor so she backs down when he uses a loud deep voice, forceful verbal manipulation, or psychologically there is always potential fear of something physical from a man. When a man gets combatively aggressive it's scary. If she doesn't back down, however, she risks losing her guy because no man wants to come home to combat. If he…

Making eye contact with a man and then looking down, and repeating that is a low risk way to make a first move with a man. In many people's eyes this isn't technically a first move because it's subtle, but it makes a man feel safe that he can approach if his interest is piqued. If he's not interested then he won't approach. It doesn't mean this will result in a relationship, but it sure usually gets him started. And many relationships have started this way.

I actually read this book years ago and still own it. I still follow some of the advice from it with my husband, such as letting a man go into his cave when he needs to and don't worry about it. And when he comes back to you he will be in a better mood and more attentive to you. Also, it generally helped me understand the traits of men better and be more appreciative of those differences. It did change my perspective on men back from the time I read it. I curtailed my behavior of trying to corre…

I think I understand what you mean. You make the nest all pretty and perfect with your own touch, and you can look at it afterward and know you were the one that made it so nice. You're in service to your home when you do it. I think that's very feminine. But all the other things you're doing are also very feminine. Overall you're still topping the charts on the femininity scale 😊

This was well said. Unless after these 5 dates the male and female have declared a relationship status, like gf/bf, then I think she can just fall back into silence with him and find another date. We like men to want us and pursue us, and it seemed like a clear "I don't have plans to pursue you now."

I don't think your usage of vulva is gross. It's more respectful than anything. I've heard some men say some really crude terms in the past in place of vulva. The painting of DJT with the small stuff is definitely women trying to make him feel like a small man. I don't really understand the phrase "small D energy" because I don't think male aggression has anything to do with size.

Are you talking about men helping men come into themselves as a unifying concept? I agree men are held to the standard of having to be strong because women are more attracted to strong men. I even need a little bit of toxic masculinity to get excited sometimes.
