You can take it as that or you can take it as I meant for it to be. That they’re a person that you can pass your beliefs, traditions, etc onto as part of your legacy and that they’ll be formed and molded by your guidance. You completely ignored the whole point of my statement. By what I can tell, the answer you want is nihilism. There’s no point to life, no point to relationships as it all ends at your final breath. Your best bet is to live in the moment, make as much money as you can, seek as m…

Here’s the real question you’ve posed- how do I avoid feeling pain when my parents pass on? Society today is so averse to anything that makes us uncomfortable or upset. Funerals are quick now, with a visitation on one day and burial on the next so we can be done with it. Some cremate their relatives and scatter the ashes to wind. Nothing there to remind the surviving individuals of the impending end that’s approaching. The real answer is learning to accept that you will feel pain in life and tha…

I was in a situation like this. I was just starting out professionally and was piling on the debt trying to keep my wife and I above water. She was supposed to get a job after we got married (she finished her schooling early summer, we got married at the end of summer). Found out on the honeymoon that she planned to be a stay at home wife. She barely cleaned. Barely cooked. Contributed to massive amounts of debt and complained about being depressed as I tried to keep myself from having a nervous…

I’d also argue that farenheit 451 is more applicable as well. Everyone focuses on the government surveillance in 1984 but never the self censorship and self submission found in Fahrenheit 451. I find that book to be far more prophetic with society’s current sensibilities

Being a cunt doesn’t make you seem strong, attractive, or cool. It makes you an insufferable cunt

New Testament- Paul encourages individuals to stay single and focus on god and the ministry but if you can’t control your urges and remain abstinent, it’s better to marry That’s the general advice given so you can be mgtow and a Christian just as an FYI.

If it’s anything like the library I pay bills for (I’m an accountant), it’s funded by the county through property tax levies. The library pays the workers a fantastic wage for easy labor, they get state insurance and retirement, plenty of vacation days, etc. The library’s manager makes close to 6 figures running the county library with a fantastic benefits package as well. And then they go and beg for more money through property tax levies that can be voted on by people who don’t even pay proper…

What's shitty is that she's not going to contact the biological father about it. He's not going to be able to decide whether he wants to be a part of his child's life. That's horseshit. Fuck her

Recent tax code changes in the US removed the alimony tax deduction for men and the income addition for women. Instead, men will pay taxes on the income sent to their exes and the exes don’t have to pay taxes. So, men got screwed with the new tax code in this regard.

Pretty sure my child support of $420 a month has gone to her instagram page she runs (she reviews books and takes pics of them), her funko collection, her phone, and other misc garbage since she lives with her parents and my son stays with them when he’s over there. Fuckin ridiculous. Another 14 years to go.

I absolutely agree and the post modern philosophy is destroying our culture. The idea that there is no absolute truth and everything is subjective to experience and one individual’s perceptions is insane.

That’s like how they call murdering your baby “shaking baby syndrome” like it contracted an illness and shook to death. When I was in the hospital for the birth of my son, they gave me a pamphlet about childcare. It was for both of us but it discussed the basics of newborns. They had a section about frustration caused by babies crying and of course it was a man who was the one depicted getting mad and shaking the child to death. I see more cases of women murdering their kids via shaking and othe…

I don’t see this as prevalent on the right side. Do we not discuss blue vs red pill on here? Is that not political in and of itself? Whether it’s political or not, it’s the truth. Not to say the right is perfect but it doesn’t run on a platform of shaming and degrading men. What I said was topical and related. I’m not going to not speak the truth just because it’s political in nature and may ruffle some feathers.

Equality as preached by the left is always centered around tearing others down and lifting their targeted group up.

I didn’t mention that my dad and I had a strained relationship as it was. My dad is a hard man. He’s a pastor and you live life his way (god’s way) or he doesn’t come over for visits, he pulls himself out of your life and then when he does see you, reminds you that you’re in the wrong. At the time of my parents’ divorce, I also saw that although my mom was a piece of shit for cheating, dad was a piece of shit for being an asshole to her as well. I was trying to put all of the pieces together and…

Life is better x100 And my family reminds me how much I’ve returned to my good self not the empty shell I was when I was with her. I knew it was bad but after listing it out for you, I see now what kind of hell I went through. I was accused of emotional abuse but shit, reading through what I said, I think I was the one abused and gaslighted 😂

I always had to get her something. For instance, I could be in the middle of something and she’s want me to stop and make her a drink When it came to family visits, there were arguments before and after. She’s make me feel bad for spending an afternoon at my grandparents rather than just being at my apartment If I wanted to help on my family’s piece of land on a Saturday (mowing, maintenance work, etc), not only would she complain but I’d have to be the one to find something for her to do that w…

It truly sucks. I was taught that it was a team effort. Taught to communicate what’s going on and with my ex-wife, I did that. When we were dating, there were warning signs I missed but it wasn’t until the ring went on her finger that the blinders came off. Found out during the honeymoon she had no plans to use her medical assistant schooling to get a job - didn’t like working with people. I bore all of the financial burden right out the starting gate and what I thought would be shared, was put …

It is challenging and sadly most of today’s women are not raised to put up with this challenge nor do they want to. Hence why it’s becoming rare to see couples that have been together for 50 or greater years

Ex-wife never wanted to talk about my stresses because it made her depressed. I bore the worries and burdens for a few years only to be ignored when I needed help.

When I see a woman claim to be a devoted wife, I’m immediately skeptical. My ex-wife was going to be that way. Instead, she spent whatever she could, wouldn’t keep up on the house, wouldn’t help with the finances, wouldn’t listen to my stresses, and focused solely on herself then claimed during the divorce that she would’ve crawled through glass for me. Yeah right. When I see a woman advertising like that in these kinds of scenarios, she’s looking for an easy ride and all the perks. Even a young…

How delusional /entitled does one have to be to think they DESERVE to just latch on to someone who’s already done all of the hard work to become successful and then they can just waltz into the life and reap all of the benefits. All of these women have somehow convinced themselves that by going online for their dating that they’ve increased their chance at finding “Prince Charming”. They’re all fucking crazy

Her false report will hurt her in court Just keep fighting and make sure the lawyer sticks with it. I had to fight but I got 50/50

My ex-wife took my son for 2 months and wouldn’t let me see him outside of FaceTime. Nearly broke me. I had to fight in court to get 50/50 but the legal fees will cost me the equity of my home. It was worth it but it’s horseshit that I even had to fight as hard as I did. They punished me because I worked and she didn’t. Whole thing was fucked.

It disgusts me that she’s an M83 fan. That album is phenomenal and he’s done nothing that matches the quality of it. Her anthem isn’t the best song on the album, tho.

i did what you did, dated for 5 years, was married for 2 and divorced. With the way things are going now, it's not worth your time to make it work. You can do better.

👀 I’m currently working on selling my house to pay the lawyer lol but it’s worth it. And I couldn’t imagine being stuck with every other weekend. It would’ve broke me and that’s what she was aiming for the entire time. Bitches are horrible.

They rewarded my ex for being jobless with no plans on getting a job. I had to fight twice as hard to have my son 50/50 because I worked and she didn’t. And I pay child support, 100% of the medical bills, etc. fortunately I wasn’t married long enough for alimony. They tried to argue that my son didn’t need me as much because he wasn’t interested in chatting with me over FaceTime (she took him for 2 months from me while I waited for the first court hearing and I couldn’t do a damned thing to get …

My ex-wife tried to take my son from me. She texted me one day and said that I'll not be getting him back until court ordered child support is paid (we hadn't been to court yet to even get that sorted out). I didn't see my son for 2 months until the court date in which the judge basically required the schedule we had before she took him. During those 2 months, she tried to force me into a deal where I'd get him every other weekend or I wouldn't see him at all until the court date (outside of fac…
