Great for you! Don’t back down. It’s one thing if you choose to remain friends and want to help, but you have zero responsibility now!!! Enjoy that!

Yeah, I had never seen her before. I watched a couple other videos and didn’t “agree” with her completely but it was definitely worth the watch. You’ll either agree, laugh, or get mad I guess. 2/3rds chance it will be worth the watch.

Wow!!! I’ve been feeling really down. This thread makes me feel a little better. A lot better actually. I guess there is hope. Not yet divorced. About to start the process. Going to take a big hit financially and am really pissed about that since I’m the only one working my ass off for long hours for years and have been trying to save but she just spends spends spends! I’m looking forward to not being responsible for her depression shopping and finally building my finances.

The faster she can make anything happen, the less you will have time to strategize and the more mistakes you will make. Slow and steady wins the race.

She sounds like a winner! Her next marriage will end soon I’m sure. That said, just cause I was curious (about to amicably split) in my state, dating is legal once officially separated. THAT said, what your STBX is doing is in very poor taste. Don’t flaunt it to or in front of the kids. And if you plan to, discuss it with the STBX first.

I’m about to be in this same position. 31 years married. 25 of those years she hasn’t worked. And the last 10 years, she’s sat on the couch all day, depression shopping, playing games on her phone, chatting with her out of state girlfriends (cause she won’t try to make friends locally). She’s blown nearly $200k of her inheritance on worthless crap, not to mention what she has spent of my hard earned money over the decades, also for worthless crap. (She once went into “business” selling scrapbook…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
