Had a mortgage once in my 20s. Property ladder. Snapped up foreclosures and some bought on the courthouse steps in tax sales. I’m a landlord to many. Helps to be handy. Helped a fellow or two along the way get set in the trades. Bought plots and watched which way the development wind blows. Some dumb luck probably. Took a bath once or twice. Boutique agriculture lining my pockets now. Shocking what people will pay to be served a thimble of food and others for a right of way.
