No shit, detective. It's worth thinking about at least. Which is his point. One of the 17 year olds waits a couple of months and all of a sudden he's capable of consent? No one is justifying her actions, he literally said he's thinking out loud. If you can't see what makes this topic at least worthy of a conversation than the comment isn't for you.

Someone throwing a punch can absolutely be met with deadly force. There's no way to know if that punch could knock you out, and kill you as your skull smacks the ground. There's no way to know what someone will do to you after you're knocked unconscious. I personally believe you have a duty to retreat before using deadly force (which is law in some states). But if you're backed in a corner with someone throwing punches at you, you would never be charged for discharging your weapon in self defens…

Hahahaha no. Not anymore. Standards have been lowered in most states. We just hired a young woman who stands a whopping 4'11", 100lbs soaking wet. They'd rather hurt firemen than feelings.

Absolutely agree. I have no issue with a woman being a firefighter. I have an issue with unqualified, non-capable people getting in the mix. However, you commonly see this with women.

Every city/department is different. The one I work for has one but the women I work with a fairly older. They got hired before it was implemented.

Same goes for the fire service. I work with two small women. I know I could drag them out if shit went south, but I know for a fact that I'm screwed if I ever go down. We live in a time where we'd rather hurt people physically than hurt someone's feelings.
