Yeah that's what I'm thinking, even if the authorities don't go after her they can at least get a conviction against her and potentially some compensation, not that it'd make up for what they've been through. Although I doubt they'd get any money due to her probably not having any. Not sure how the legal system works in the US but it'd be possible in the UK to go after her, particularly as she's admitted guilt.
/r/MensRights23/02/17 08:26 PM

Surely the victim can sue her for this privately though if she has admitted it?
/r/MensRights23/02/17 06:12 PM

She'll be a politician in the US within 10 years, talking about her "ordeal" at every opportunity.
/r/MensRights22/02/17 11:07 PM

Regarding guilt/innocence. The bottom line is he has hit someone in a public place and is allegedly bigoted. Neither of them make him a prime candidate for recruitment over others. She shouldn't have hit him, absolutely and I give him credit for hitting once and leaving it there, many wouldn't. But if he's followed them in, harassing her friend because he's gay? That starts to shine a pretty shitty light on him from a recruitment perspective regardless of how you cut it. He wouldn't have even be…

There was no indication that the BMW one would be better, much like how the cars don't indicate anything either.

By changing the context you essentially responded to a comment you created, not the point made by bufedad. Keep talking to yourself, you seem to enjoy it. I have made no comment on whether you are correct or not - I simply called it bullshit and that's exactly what it is in relation to bufedad's comment. My name is on everything, as is my wife's but again that's entirely irrelevant - this thread is about a woman having sex with a student, you should create a subreddit called /r/letsgoonatangent

You didn't just re-work that statement you entirely changed its meaning and context. Everything after that was bullshit. Teachers are in a position of trust. In most cases if not all this is a contractual requirement that they do not abuse that trust by having a relationship with a student. End of story.

Doesn't have to cry, just turn up looking smart and not like an addict.

BBC is fairly left leaning and very pro EU. No idea why it's be considered central tbh.

It doesn't help that a sizeable chunk of father's don't fight for custody rights. We all should.

18 months, shit we ready don't value girls in the U.K., she'll be out in a couple of months due to the lack of proper female prison provision as it's class as non violent crime. Victims get a life sentence, she's out to fiddle kiddies in less than a year.

No knock out. Punching woman repeatedly who's giving as good as she's getting. Hits when she's on the floor - the bro-code should technically still cover her since she's more man than he is at this point. All in all he's lucky she didn't beat the shit out of him.

She's not a victim of anything according to the court, which included females.

He'd still be innocent regardless of his previous crimes. That's the sort of shit that tips people over the edge.

She'll be out in less than a year, however with a criminal conviction that will likely be removed from any employment checks within a few years also.

In the UK seeing a female sent to prison for anything short of multiple homicide is unusual these days..

He got 14K in damages? that's incredibly unusual, normally it'd be a few hundred pounds. Just shows how bad this assault was.

I'll be down voted for this but the fact it's subjective means it's rarely invoked. The police rarely bother to follow up unless it's a very clear case and even then a lot of them are thrown out at the first court appearance. The more often that happens the weaker the law becomes because of precedent. This is partly why this will go nowhere, it'll be a pass just might take a few months.

I don't see her doing any of that, she's no different to any guy being a bit of a dick about accepting police authority, at no point is she playing the gender card.

Not really, the driver should have spotted them straight away, imagine the media attention if these had been 3 drunk guys? There'd be a fucking uproar, as it is there's less than a fart in the wind.

Just try being a male nursery teacher, one of my friends is one and he's constantly asked by parents (male and female) why he likes being around children. Would they ever dream of doing that to a female nursery teacher? Hell no. As he says you're guilty by default especially when the new intake of kids happens and it's new parents. It takes them about 6 months to realise that he's not a pedo and that's he's just a fucking great teacher.

I have a feeling her employer won't be too keen on her continuing in her role teaching about diversity and the negative impact of racial profiling, due to this insidious behavior..

Don't forget the tax raised by those laws which pays for many things including the road that they are driving on. All the benefits, none of the drawbacks if they don't want them.. Free to pick and choose..

She's likely to be out in less than a year too, British justice doesn't really recognise women as threats unless they're raving loons.

"Sit back y'all - I don't want you to see this". So she's got kids in the car and doesn't want them to see someone who's interfering with police business getting arrested, but is happily swearing like a trooper before that. Great example.

I don't give them money, ever. There's no reason to be homeless in the UK with the number of charities offering help and the laws surrounding non-voluntary homelessness compelling councils to house people who turn up. Those who have made themselves homeless have routes out of it, so I'll give them food or a hot drink if they want, but cash? Nope. I remember about 15 years ago sitting fixing a PC (worked in IT support at the time) when two housing officers were discussing a family who had moved i…

One of my friends was put in this situation with his now ex, his move was simple. He seduced her two hotter, older, sisters, dumped all three of them and is now happily married to her cousin, who isn't interested in open relationships.

This is the issue with the judicial system worldwide, it's left up to judges to decide in cases like this with guidelines and precedent, but ultimately it comes down to their opinion. Someone needs to make a decision, but as humans we're all susceptible to manipulation and making mistakes.

Losing argument, not getting a reaction - resort to violence. All wrong, whilst I hope she's not seriously injured I hope she learns from this, doubt it though.

She fell over, whilst turning around. She's also not a "well balanced individual". Get it? I'll get my coat.
