I think the best tip I could give anyone is - watch how they treat their Mum/Sisters. That is a good indicator of what kind of person they will be to you once you have moved in together and have kids.

Compared to many other men, he did pretty well. He took 60-75% of the duties while I did the rest. He hated that he couldnt stay overnight with us at the Hospitals (yay Australian hospitals...) to help me out when I needed him most. But at home he was terrific and still is 1.5 years on. Although, he was a tad buzzed during my labour. But that is because I went into labour over a month early and he had his birthday gathering a couple of weeks earlier than his actual birthday... to lessen the risk…

This makes me feel so much happier about my choice in men. I found my 1/1000 while in High School. Had a child a year and a half ago, he went above and beyond for us. We did our fair share each. When my son woke at night and I had my c-section scar still healing, I struggled to get out of bed without immense pain or feeling that my scar was ripping (ding dong, I had the start of an infection!
