We did and still do, treating boys like that is common. Even if people aren’t commonly so blunt, we do subtly raise them that way and in many cases expect them to suppress their emotions. Just because you haven’t experienced it, doesn’t mean it isn’t possible. In this case she was trying to frame it in a way that they would understand. Better that they stop doing it for any reason than they keep doing it because they have bad morals and won’t respond to the “right” reason. It can be tempting to nitpick, but winning tiny battles like this alienates those who are on our side, and hurts the whole cause in the long term. Why must you try to invalidate this. It isn’t a novel idea that Men are told to suppress their emotions, it’s just an accepted one. The first step towards fixing a problem is acknowledging its existence, and it certainly exists, so people like you trying to pretend it doesn’t are not appreciated.

I agree the draft shouldn't be abolished, however even disabled men are required to register for the SSS with penalties if they dont. Combat readiness has nothing to do with it. On top of that, the majority of the military isn't frontline troops. There are many support roles that could be filled. The draft should stay, but women should be signed up as well.

I agree that I hate the name and think that it shows an interesting insight into their character. My point was simply that as long as they were not part of or conspiring to commit violence then their name is technically protected by free speech. Amazon is massive. No matter how many signatures you get they won’t even bat an eye. Now while I agree that they are being petty here. To say that “most women” are one of those things is harsh and untrue. Many women are like that, but many are not. I’m completely for more awareness for men’s rights (being a man myself) but not to the point of negative and untrue stereotypes like that. Men’s rights fights against negative male stereotypes, and we shouldn’t do what we are trying to oppose.

I mean, people are unique so please don’t just try to deny what she said by claiming that her dad didn’t say that. There are plenty of people and personalities which could and would very plausibly say that. The entire point is that by having unprotected sex the female did not consent to having a child but the man did, therefore the female can opt out of paying child support but the man can’t. Also contraception isn’t 100% foolproof but in the case of an accidental pregnancy the woman can opt out but the man can’t. In other words, it’s unequal
