Hilariously simple but also hits very close to home!

Don't know about those other jobs, but med school? No. No way. Spending another 4 years in school and racking up well over $150k in debt only to be worked to death? Yeah nah.

There are far better and easier options out there for that. Like what?

How do you like being a male nurse? Strongly considering it as a career option. That or PA school. I already have a bachelor's degree (went to grad school for a PhD program and realized a career in academia sucks and just isn't for me).

Definitely hard, that's why I'd only want a small hobby farm. Nothing big, just a fun thing to do for a hobby and to get food.

I've always thought it would be neat to have a hobby farm. Ya know, a bunch of herbs, veggies, fruit trees, a few sheep, goats, some chickens.

I didn't really, but her defeated/submissive demeanor OP describes doesn't seem like something a happy person would act like.

Can you determine if someone is happy just by them having sex regularly and watching over children?

Ah okay then. She doesn't work I take it?

But how do you know that? I just can't shake the feeling that she is only doing those things because she feels like she lost and is completely helpless now.

I don't know, I can't really put my finger on why this story in particular bummed me out. I think it was how the wife was worrying about him, and then the moment when he realized she felt defeated. That moment made me a little sad - how she felt defeated. It just seemed like she was miserable in that moment. Is she really happy when she 'turns around' and shags him every single day after that incident? Is she actually happy not being able to sleep in on the weekends? Or is she miserable because …

Maybe we can have a little sex. Lol, what is "a little sex" even?

God I love this sub. It's easily one of my 2 favorites now.

I see your point. At the same time though, especially in the field of study in OP's post, very rarely do p-values that low show up, and I still would say that even if one study showed an incredibly low p-value, it doesn't necessarily mean anything. Basically every part of a paper is just a way to help build an argument. Even a p-value (which, again, is arbitrary on what cut-off point it is significant or not).

Except that p-values are arbitrary and even a large study with significant p-values don't necessarily "prove" anything (and in fact sometimes a significant p-value means nothing at all for the data if it isn't clinically significant). In science, very few things are proven with studies. Facts are built up that can point closer and closer to the truth.

Yeah, but to what level was she doing that in a nightclub in view of other people? Was she completely naked? Did she just just topless? Was she rubbing their weiners over their pants? Did she whip out their charlestons and start masturbating them in the open air?

Then try being lucid. Describe in explicit detail to clear up my confusion.

What exactly do you mean that she was taking her clothes off and rubbing cocks?

I wonder at what age is it too late for these things to have an effect. There might not be much bone structure changes after puberty once the growth plates close, but I really don't know.

I've wondered the same thing for a long time. When you see several couples in your family get divorced, a good amount of others who are clearly unhappy in their relationship, I just want to know why. My biggest thing about marriage is that if I don't get married, my parents will be sad.

I'm still confused about what you did differently. Can you give any specific quote-by-quote examples of what you and her said?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
