My Brother... I feel you. I grew up in a Feminist household and was taught from an early age that men (me) are the problem. I would say, you have NO idea how much self-hate I carry from that, to this day. But... I think you DO know. Counseling and the Men's community have done a lot to help. But some baggage will always be carried. I have become a men's rights advocate and a staunch anti-feminist. They have millions of types of support. We don't.

"If you ever assault me, you will never see me again. Period." I said this with a stone face. She smiled, then realized I was serious. And said "ok. That makes sense." And I will give her that... She never came at me with physical abuse. Not even once. And while that was good, it wasn't enough. As a guy, we don't think about the other …

My ex broke up with me after 4 years. I never realised that her treating me like crap for most of that time was actually abuse. I saw some of it, but wouldn't admit it to myself. After the breakup, I started to see it for what it was. Manipulation, controlling, mental, verbal and emotional abuse. And to think, she had me believing not only were all of our issues MY fault, but that I deserved to be treated like crap. Thank God for counseling and abuse websites. I can finally see the forest for th…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
