You'll never see a feminist response to this. Ignoring this shit is basically rule 1 of feminism.

That sub is pretty sexist. You should see the threads when a guy wants a paternity test. The comments in those are horrid.

Exactly. And sure he's not right about genetics, but what else is he supposed to think? He's got people telling him conflicting things and a child that he thinks doesn't look like him. That's incredibly flimsy and it's no wonder his mind is grasping at some 'crazy' conclusions. And rather than clear it up for him right away by allowing him a paternity test, his wife is claiming he needs to be punished for not trusting her... Precisely why paternity tests should be done at birth and not left as m…

I tried to respond earlier but the thread was locked. Pretty typical of /r/relationships though. Sure the guy may not understand genetics, but rather than suggest she support her husband emotionally by being okay with getting a paternity test, most people also wanted him to be punished / them to get couples counseling / a few even suggested divorce (typical /r/relationships). Just more proof that society does not look kindly on male emotional / insecurity issues. The guy might be wrong, but rath…

Two separate issues. Women should be able to vote for war and should be part of the draft.

Damn, that /r/pics thread is bad. It's almost entirely "But that's not feminism!" followed by redefining it a hundred different ways.

Men complain less. Obviously it's a generalization, but you can see it everywhere. Go to /r/relationships and you can find quite a few threads about 'my gf/wife is always complaining, what should I do?' and the top response is almost always 'listen to her vent! don't try to fix it!'. Most men are not raised that way. If something's wrong, we fix it, thus there's no need to complain. I think it's a good thing. Getting obligations done is so much better than bringing everyone down with constant co…

It's toughest on young / teenage boys. They're getting contradictory messages from society. On the one hand, they've got schools / television simplifying complex messages and telling them 'masculinity' is wrong. Competition should be avoided and is unfair. How emotions and crying are good things. How adult men are dumb and useless. But then there's the reality: They will have to compete and challenge themselves if they want any success when they're older. Life is going to be unfair. They will ha…

Worst I'll do is TwoX and that's enough for me. The major ones I won't touch. I'm not a masochist!

It does nothing for me. Rolling Stone should not be publishing a story without fact checking. They were greedy and tried to get a hit piece out on rape, and hurt real people in the process. That frat has been harassed, vandalized, and now the members are fearful of going outside, all because Rolling Stone wanted to make a profit. Saying 'sorry' shouldn't excuse that. Crimes should be handled by courts. Media bypassing due process to promote moral crusades is frankly disturbing to me.

There are a few exceptions, but the majority of anti-GG are privileged white men. Here's the audience for one of Sarkeesian's speeches: http://i.imgur.com/eimNU1c.jpg

Havn't really talked about men's rights specifically, but my wife is strongly anti-feminist. She thinks it's a ridiculous and insulting movement in the first place, but she's also very concerned with where it's heading because we've got a son. Mostly we talk about parenting. Her 'motherly instincts' make her want to be soft and comforting to our son, but she knows the world is not going to treat him that way so we've got to raise him to be tough.

Progressivism 82.5 Socialism 12.5 Tenderness 56.25 To round out the picture you appear to be, political preference aside, a sensible radical egalitarian with few strong convictions. Fairly accurate description of me. I do think I'm actually for progress, while current day 'progressives' are more for weakening humanity.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
