Or you could consider that she's a person with plans and obligations that don't involve sitting around and replying to your text messages within a certain amount of time. You've provided absolutely no context or background, yet you're asking us to make the decision for you. This is akin to posting, "Hey, my head hurts. Should I start making funeral plans?" We don't know if you sent over a perfectly reasonable, open ended question, or if in a drunken stupor you thought it a good idea to snapchat …

It means you're over thinking it. Seriously, let it go.

Perfect example of a shit test coming from someone you probably wouldn't want to date. She did you a favor. She was butthurt that you didn't fawn over her like most guys do.

I didn't see any drama at all - just some good discussion. This is really weird. Edit: But now that I think about it - it IS geared more toward /r/relationships, although I think it's great discussion material since this is like being on the "other side" of a pickup attempt.

Maybe I'm completely in the wrong here, but my logic is that this would display an extreme level of confidence - that you are so secure and confident that it doesn't threaten you in any way that some other guy is in your girlfriend's house - and you'll even go as far as talking to the guy. IMO just up and threatening someone you've never met - I believe that's alpha behavior with beta undertones/motivations - kind of like when an animal puffs up to look bigger when it's frightened. Threatening s…

Saw this on an OKC profile - the chick is an HB8.5. This is very common - if you are or act like a "good guy" that a woman could see herself with for a while, she's more likely to act like the "good girl" that society expects.

This was really interesting to read. I think I might want to visit just for the opportunity to watch this stuff go down in person.

This becomes even more plausible if you say it drunkenly.

Are you disqualifying yourself as boyfriend material? That's one of the things that a lot of folks here seem to advise - if you disqualify yourself as boyfriend material, they don't feel the need to be girlfriend material or be a "good girl" and therefore are more likely to sleep with you. Perhaps you're taking it too far? You're disqualifying yourself so much that when you actually want something more serious they can't imagine you being a decent boyfriend?

I like how you used the whole "What's your name? No, I mean your last name" thing on a fellow sedditor.

Oh man. I came in here ready to be really pissed off that you used CS as a way to get laid (as a redditor/CSer/OKCupider/sedditor it's tough to keep those things separate sometimes). Then I realized that I recently dated a CSer as well - and, like you, I didn't go in to it with that mindset. Thanks for the FR.

We've GOT to stop doing this. It's made its way in to my real life speaking. :|

"So I think you are totally cute, and I'm going to hit on you, but i've never hit on someone who fought a shark, maybe you can help me out here" Dude, I'm going to start searching for girls with missing limbs just so I can use that line.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
