You do realize you don't need to kill yourself to achieve the same effect, right?

Yes. You have no obligation to accept anything shitty he does. I did this for a long time and screwed myself financially so hard, I've only started to recover now, after three months that my previous flatmate left. I took too long to take any sort of meaningful action hoping that things would get better, instead of telling him to pack his things and fuck off when I did. I might be alone, yes, but at least now I have some peace of mind.

Exactly the reason why I don't like this explanation, but don't find to expect sympathy for this kind of opinion here.

Some folks in this sub will tell you that it's all about frame, and how being submissive even when sex comes into play screws things up. I don't buy this explanation but it's what you're gonna find if you do a quick search here.

Interesting theory, but I think one major flaw in it is that you assume that carrying the "gay gene" implies in that person being gay. It could be some kind of recessive trait that only manifests itself in a few cases, and it also doesn't put into account a lot of other external factors, such as culture. In all honesty, I don't think it's ever going to end - with the way things are swinging around the world, at least.

The only rules you'll actually need: Always say less than necessary (4th Law of Power) Everything you say must contain purpose to it. (Doesn't matter if it's chit-chat or a three-hour presentation.) Don't overcomplicate stuff, man.

On the other hand, things look even worse in America, yet they have this subreddit standing strong, TheRationalMale, ACrackLetsTheLightIn, ThePrivateMan and many others. Most of them operate under pen names, and I don't think it's that hard to maintain a degree of anonimity while spreading the word. It's something I think we could give some thought. What do you say?

Glad to see TRP being spread down here. I've been thinking of even starting a blog of my own in Portuguese based on the best content I've read so far here. Yes, the human nature is this little bitch and only now I'm truly aware of what's going on. I'm through with my own anger phase and now am left to wonder what's next (besides doing the handbook stuff, like lifting). As for your LTR, pick up the pace and go out there to the world - there's something better waiting for all of us to conquer. Hap…

That was me being a blue pill bitch back in the day. Don't mix things up bro.

(Shit, I read a bit carelessly and saw "Go to the best" instead of "Go be the best". Oh well.) What you're stating basically is that self-confidence is like a magnet and you don't go around boasting that it's high as the Trump Tower. Got it. Thanks for helping clearing the haze in my mind, man. I hope you can be repaid for this advice someday.

Thanks for the insight, man. Though I feel compelled to ask: I'm moving through life but I feel more like I'm being carried than going out there. And when you said tax accountant you meant more figuratively or really as if I need to talk about personal finances with someone? Also, what is building purpose anyway?

She's 25yo and still a virgin? You serious, bro?

Actually it's to talk myself out of being monogamous, especially in situations where all seems fine but in reality the girl has potential to screw you.

To gauge where she ranks as a woman - plate, fwb, LTR, and so on. Simple as that.

While this can be a good indicator, lemme point out a few things to keep in mind. I) Her father might have died/deserted the family and yet she might have a masculine figure in the family as a point of reference. Won't change the fact that it will fuck up her childhood - and later life - but it might mitigate the effect. II) Depends on the religion. Here where I live we have an expression that can be loosely translated to "believer with a hot ass" (hot as in if it was itching/burning for dick), …

Lemme tell ya something - you are not mean. The mere fact that you actually give a damn about living a functional life in society by not being an idiot to everyone is enough proof, so stop bitching about this. Then again, being friendly and passive to people's actions doesn't automatically qualify you as nice. I've been way nicer to people (and vice versa) by being blunt, truthful and whatnot; sometimes polishing a few words here and there but not ever forcing myself to be the rainbow-land guy w…

Eh... as H is concerned, we worked on somewhat different (yet related) fields and to be fair I didn't see myself working for him. He had the bucks but not that much. Lucas, around that time, was a complete noob regarding relationships at all, we knew he never dated anyone before N. He wasn't in for pumping and dumping, he had been meaning to stay with her and it was her decision to branch swing. I don't ignore politics, I actually like staying tuned on what's going on. However discussions with h…

Ehh, their original Portuguese names are uncommonly heard of in English so I didn't bother.

I had held my frame nicely and had gone my merry way until I let it be broke by my friend's request. Never doing this again.

I sometimes talked to H. Nice guy (not in the "TRP Bible" sense), as in he had great taste in music, games, movies and whatnot. But ever since he developed the ONEitis he got WEIRD. As for Lucas, he wasn't a bad guy per se but every time he chatted with me on facebook was almost always about some political discussion I wasn't interested in partaking. Oh, and both were their own brand of white knights. No one worth saving there.

We were close enough in the sense he trusted me enough to tell me the shitty things he was going through in life... but in the end that didn't matter. I ended up losing contact with him as well and went on my merry way.

Your view on brazilian women is heavily shaped by media, my friend. I mean, we have lots of beautiful people, but just as many ugly people like everywhere else. Alpha fucks, beta bucks, and women as in AWALT exist down here as well.

Yeah, and to make matters worse, we also had a girl who eventually became a transsexual in the group. I wonder how I got myself into this mess, to be honest.

That's what I've been striving for, but thanks for the kind reminder, man.

Yeah, nowadays I'm waaay more careful when doing so. Even then, I always put a "disclaimer" in my advices, so that they know it's still about themselves in the end.

Yeah, totally bad move by me. I wish I'd knew better back then. About him changing by his own is something I acknowledged by the end of the text, no need to remind me of that.

Well, to be fair I was angry because of that... but I also knew what he was feeling. I mean, I know it wasn't optimal but I did it for him anyway because I felt, at the time, it would be for the better. Oh, how I wish I had known some things back then.

Yeah, this was ages ago. It was at the height of my blue-pilldom, and it's made my list of regrets. Then again I shut her from my life, and eventually so did my friend, who has had two girlfriends since the incident. This is my "relief", so to speak.

Competition is better because it is a driving force towards bettering ourselves. Also, I have no problem competing with a man instead of a White Knight.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
