Have you read Models yet? Manson talks about race as one of the strongest polarizers. Race makes you gain as many potential women as you lose, all else equal, assuming the number of girls from each race is even. He mentions that breaking from racial stereotypes will always make you stand out, and being Asian gives you the potential leverage you would otherwise not have if you were white. Now i'm not saying he's correct (i'm not done the book yet) but he's got a point.

I'm reading Influence by Robert Cialdini and it's been fantastic so far. As far as I know he pioneers concepts like social proof. I tried reading The Game but couldn't get through it. Got superficial halfway through, and just stopped reading. Without a doubt, it's a very entertaining read, but it was feeding me very few things I didn't already know and really begins to show it's age once you read about the way Neil portrayed Tyler.
