1	I have a question on this topic I've been hearing. It's standing up to other men when women are being harassed (cat calling, or sexist jokes). Honestly depends on a number of facts. 1. What was the situation? 2. Was said person able to remove themselves from the situation? 3. Was your safety in jeopardy? It’s no one’s responsibility to actually step in and assist someone else. It’s your responsibility to keep yourself safe. Myself, and a lot of people I know come from the southern part of the USA. We are raised to help those in need, and all that southern hospitality BS. First I don’t think our words carry any more weight per say than a woman’s words. I think it’s someone else standing up for said person that is the key. For myself I don’t see sex in these situations.
