Hate to break it to you, but there is WAY more white people under the poverty line in the us than there is black. Like double the amount. And actual poverty rate by race % black is only 20% of their total population in the us live in "poverty" 10% of white population lives in "poverty". That means there is 20 million+ whites to 9 million~ blacks in poverty. And yet somehow still those numbers of 50% for murder and robbery. It's almost as if it's cultural.

Because 13% of the population makes up over 50% of murder and robbery arrests still to this day, which mixed historically with a much higher violent crime rate overall by population representation; statistically showing that they're more likely to commit violent crime, gives judges and prosecutors more reason to have a higher conviction rate. I believe they're referencing old FBI uniform crime statistics. The newer stats still don't have a good % of violent crime to population % for black / african amerians, but it's not 70%. Closer to 40. But on the ground of just actual murder and robbery it's 55%* *Again, old crime stats were 70%. From the 90s were even worse. stats for 2018
