Enough with this post. I have never heard of a feminist critique saying that it's okay to say that you hate all women just because some women are bad or because some men have it bad. No hypocrisy. We should communicate better with each other, not trying to gaslight the fact that actually people spreading hate are our allies and are justified in speaking in a certain way. They're not.

I was talking more about the post Sure wanting stability is okay but above a certain level it's useless to try to have a partner who outearns you. Why would you want this AND why do women want it more than men?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/24 05:22 PM
2

Ok so they don't work, thanks for the opinion :)
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/24 05:20 PM

They want someone to earn more than them. It's not about stability. If I have a high salary but I'm asking for someone who has an even higher salary it's no longer about security

If female nature doesn't exist you don't get to talk about how men are dangerous then...

The comments on the experiment are honestly funny. Women said having a good date is hard He proved getting a good date is not hard Everyone goes: "weird/useless/fake/obnoxious/bad" Wow

Of course it depends on the man I will be more precise: Taken all of the men's population is the sentence "more than 50% of men like people" true or false?

They are very glad to stay in a relationship where more "benefits" are given to the woman compared to how much they receive back. We're not talking about 10 v 0 but something like 60 v 20 This is the norm.

Science Mr White!
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/24 03:48 PM

Wow this is such a bad take on data that I kind of love it. It talks about relationships that already exist. You take a total population (men and women) than out of it you pick the people who are actually dating (subset of every man and women in a country, ie US). But it doesn't mean that it works as efficiently for men as it does for women. What you've linked doesn't separate men and women. If you don't see how it's a problem I really don't know what's to say. Think about it this way: Let's say…

/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/24 03:27 PM

Mmm just average guys right? Wouldn't it make more sense to say "average PEOPLE try to look for other people above their own league"? Nah it's impossible it would imply that women do it too.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/24 03:26 PM
2

It's a question aimed at women Do you seriously think that there would be even one single girl who could answer "yeah the girls are the baddies, men are ok" I purposely wrote the options like that

in dating That's the key word IN dating Lemme break it to you: Women have it hard in dating (meaning handling a relationship) Men have it hard GETTING a date (the step before the relationship) Women find the second step of the process hard => meaning they have no trouble in the first one Men find the first step of the process hard => meaning they get to the second step incredibly less compared to women It's not that difficult to understand

People with an attractiveness of 1.6/5 and lower were "under texted" and people with an attractiveness of 1.6/5 and higher were "over texted"? Doesn't seem like an impressive stat. The only good data is the little space between the 1.6 and the 2.5, a tiny percentage of the whole graph
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/24 08:59 PM

It's not rocket science: if you think 80% of the people you see are attractive you seem like an overreacher and appear to exaggerate yourself, if you think 80% of the people you see are ugly you seem like an underachiever and appear to always compromise.

What about the possibility that women actually underestimate the attractiveness of men? They think that the men they are pursuing are worse than they are whereas men think the women they are chasing are incredibly good looking. Checks out with biology, culture and algorithms of these apps/websites

Do you know the famous graph right? That's because women found the VAST majority of men unattractive, instead men's preferences were a normal distribution. It's like walking into a party of 100 people, finding 90% of the men uninteresting, than boasting about the fact that you talked to boring people with a ratio greater than the men (assuming that men find much more "interesting" girls, at least less than 90%). Pic related is the graph. <image>

They are. Look at data: men’s violence against men is greater than men’s violence against women. If there were no difference like you say murder victims should be 50/50, but it’s never like that
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/23 10:53 PM

Wow so sassy, you won the argument, really! You’re mixing up cause and effect. What you think: media creates something => people learn How it is: society has values => media shows them
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/23 01:46 PM
4

Listen the basis where you start is completely wrong: to think that fiction today does not show society’s values is so wrong I don’t even know where to begin with.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/23 01:18 PM
3

I think this is a much bigger discourse but in general I believe you don’t understand what media is supposed to be. Every story, in every culture or period of history served a purpose set by society. Think about the Odyssey or the Iliad: fictions right? So they didn’t teach anything? You sure? Of course not, they were epic poems made to entertain BUT the most important thing was another one: to continue values of the Greek society and instill solidified traditions to the youth. Roman plays? Same…

What’s your point? That druggies can be attractive toward women? That’s quite literally what OP said, news later.

What a BAD take. Homo in latin is basically “human”. That phrase was used by Hobbes to talk about human nature, not masculine nature. Even today man and human can be used this way interchangeably (in a very specific context). Latins had other ways of taking about men in the gender sense. For example “vir” (think about virtue, virility…) Does “homo sapiens” refer to males only? Are we a species of only one sex? No of course not, “homo” is not a synonym or “male”. TLDR homo homini lupus refers to …

I don’t think so (strictly personal opinion), but I also think that as a general rule the happiest people are the ones who are satisfied with the little things and don’t wake up every day wondering if they can find a better man/woman compared to the one they are already in a relationship with (accepting to date down/being content with a imperfect partner basically, in a RP terminology)
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/23 11:29 PM

I’m just asking: do the women who pursue men with these characteristics actually have those themselves?

Yeah yeah put your girl in the house alone with no male friend, that’ll work
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/23 10:56 PM

To be fair, biologically, it’s the females (yes I’m using this word because I’m referring to animals in general, not women in particular, it has nothing to do with the RP) who decide what’s attractive and what’s not. Homo sapiens is no exception in any way, shape or form.

I don’t know if I agree but you said something very interesting: many people DO NOT have the option of choosing. So oftentimes you hear a girl saying “well I’m alone and it’s my choice”. But what she implies it’s that if she doesn’t like this situation anymore she can get into a relationship. Many others don’t have this option. It’s basically one giant “cope being alone or… don’t”

The disinhibition of emancipated women was started by women who put forward, to parties and social movements, their ideas of egalitarianism and female participation to politics and civic life. Along with a philosophy that tried to challenge traditional values and social roles, sex included. Not by a couple of girls who drank beer at a bar.

In like 99% of countries you can divorce just because you are no longer physically attracted to him/her anymore. It’s okay but it’s just proves that divorce is not something that can happen just because your partner is cheating or is being violent. It’s something mundane really.

Not a lot of difference from men who are criminal
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/23 02:38 PM

Yeah it’s pretty common. But the entire point of a first date is to talk as much as possible, know each other better… Not destroying the man’s wallet, that’s not the point.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/23 02:36 PM
1

I mean at least you are the one paying right? That shows a minimum of interest
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/23 12:47 PM
5

This is solvable by paying for the first date, but a cheap one. Eg: coffee/bar, you pay for all of it, but it’s not a lot
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/23 11:39 AM

You were right, her behavior was very rude
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/23 09:15 AM

then men DO NOT have higher standards, they are just doing everything in their power to be slightly more successful, that doesn’t mean anything as far as standards are concerned. it’s the contrary: if men don’t want to split the bill then they do not expect the woman to pay, hence do not have the “standard” of a girl splitting the bill or paying herself.

But I just said that there are more men’s groups than women’s group, I’m just asking why this is the case and not viceversa, I’m not implying there’s someone to blame in particular
/r/PurplePillDebate22/10/23 09:29 AM
-2

Why don’t you people read what I write? What you think I said women spaces do not exist What I actually said, and I’m literally quoting myself here whereas women do this, but in a much smaller case
/r/PurplePillDebate21/10/23 10:44 PM
-2

You said that the problem for women is violence from men, when creating women only spaces. What about online groups? Why are there more online groups where men are the vast majority or create exclusively masculine spaces, whereas women do this, but in a much smaller case. Who’s to blame here? Bad men raping women through their computer screens?

How many fucking joints did you smoke bro? The origin of an authoritarian regime is 1) taking to the extreme the society of the masses 2) isolating individuals 3) controlling their private spheres 4) making sure everyone is submitting to authority 5) trying to conquer other countries or taking control, partially or totally, of their governments Nice guys and dating has nothing to do with it. Please read Hannah Arendt’s The Origins of Totalitarianism and stop saying nonsense.

As you kind of pointed out, it HAS to be based on consent. If your wife wants to be traditional it’s okay, if she doesn’t it’s okay too, in the same exact way. You are the one who has to accept that or not. That’s it. Talk about and it will work out. If one of the two enters marriage disagreeing with his/her role it’s a huge problem. If you change idea through the years it can be a burden too, but it depends

True, and I think OP is wrong, we’re no longer doing the traditional roles. Now, as you said, it’s mostly both of the two working, paying, doing chores, taking care of everything. I like that, even if I admit some fights can be started with the idea of “you’re not doing enough!”. But it’s a problem that can solved.

Most of the homicide victims are men, most targets of physical violence are men. Do you think people talk about this constantly like in the women’s case (for who I have massive respect)? He’s right, most people don’t talk about this. You might have friends who downplay the problems they have with women. Sometimes it’s innocent and probably done in good faith, in the end, not being able to have a girlfriend is somewhat embarrassing. What’s the point of anything? Nothing! You decide. Take your bet in this life. Live for yourself, live for your wife, for your children, for your job, for the country, for religion, for justice, for peace, for music, for technology, for other humans. Do whatever you want the important part is believing (or being deluded) and strive for it. That’s it. I think creating meaning out of yourself is the most important thing in your entire life. Not everyone feels the need to build a romantic connection, this applies to women too. All kinds of people can achieve whatever they want. The reality is, it used to be like you said (live your life for your family/spouse), now more and more individuals are taking the conscious decision to live their live for themselves, not for someone else entirely.

This reeks of very insecure. Not everyone has the same reasoning as you
/r/PurplePillDebate28/09/23 03:40 PM

Kinda agree but we have to understand that for very high percentages generalizing is almost acceptable. If I were to say that “9 women out of 10 prefer taller men than them” saying that “every woman” has that preference is wrong. But telling everybody “most girls” it’s not the full picture either. The figure is much higher than a little over one half. The good news is that when you have data you can just use it. Instead of saying “every x, most y, etc.” you can just say “87.4% of males in the US…

Every single woman goes through that? You sure?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/09/23 12:10 PM

You’re literally projecting. The basis of your thought is that when men say “we like women in their 20’s” they are lying because they want even younger girls. It’s not true at all, it’s just a very very very very very small minority of them who think that. Stop saying all men are pedos, it’s disguising it’s not okay, it’s not relevant to OP’s post and it puts venom in every discussion between males and females in PPD.

If a woman goes into OF just because she wants or because she needs money I don’t see any problem. Again if she does it in a safe environment, at her full mental capacity, and she is employer and employee, who’s to blame?
