Seems like you're right about creating a shell. I read parts of "The Rational Male" as my partner has been wanting to follow some of what he learned in the book. I've noticed how weird he has been since discovering this. It seems so odd to see him trying to follow some of these "rules" and randomly spouting things if like "Don't break frame" or freaking out about Not negotiating true desire. I told him I didn't want to have sex at the moment at a time when I was tired and not feeling great and h…

I don't know much about this group but I joined because my boyfriend is going down this path. We have a daughter and she's only 4 now but my concern is how this is going to affect her. Leaving our home because though my boyfriend has some Wonderful ideas of how we can create a better family there's a lot of underlying messages of dominance that I can't agree with and I was given an ultimatum to stay with these ideas and conditions. Is there any advice anyone has. I feel like leaving is a good id…

...switched he stared at me and sternly said "You just made me a rule. You can't give me rules. I will not negotiate true desire" So it was scary and I couldn't understand why it was such a flipped switch. It looks like being brainwashed to me.

.... What the plan could be. But after this great talked everything was going well and we hugged and he started touching my inner thigh and getting close to my private parts and I told him that "I didn't want to do that right now" then all the sudden he just

This is the msg my boyfriend has portrayed as well. Some of these things seem good and I can see how they benefit him. But the other aspects of this is super concerning. Although he is following parts of it there is this underlying goal to be dominant within our relationship and family. He has told me that I should support him no matter what but that he doesn't feel he should do that with me if he feels like there's something he would disagree with. One evening we had a talk about how to bring o…

...that are actually good too. such as men feeling empowered to do some of the things they want to do. But the pieces of power and how the ultimate goal seems like dominance. Ita really sad and makes me feel sick. Do you know if there are any groups that are like recovering red pill believers or anything along those lines. I wish there was more to this such as more people who have changed their minds and see how this could be damaging. Or if there were other people in disagreement with this extr…

Thanks for your response. He doesn't see it. He sees parts of this as a new way that he wants to live. He has started wanting to incorporate it into our family and im not going to do it. But my concern in how this will affect our daughter. I know you said you didn't want to bash the while community as there are se benefits to it. I did see some pieces of this

Thanks for saying this. My boyfriend has been going down this red pill path and following Rollo Tommasi and the rational Male. There are some aspects of it that seem good but largely I see an underlying hatred of women. It's scary and I don't know why more people aren't speaking out about this. What can I do to help him see that this ultimately can be damaging. What made you change your mind? Did you lose relationships?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
