Agree with you. And a natural extension of this for actual, thinking men would be: "When I am encouraged to put forth no or merely token effort into actual relationships with women, who wins?" No wonder the patriarchy is being defended so ferociously. If men took a milisecond to reflect, they might perceive how the patriarchy also lies to them. But regrettably, most have already been conditioned not to reflect thusly, but to be satisfied with a false, empty superiority. It is grotesque.

It may be some convoluted "strategy," but the face value of his statement seems completely stupid to me. It's more of the "men, be normal challenge" I see them fail way too much.

I hope he doesn't stay away from Hispanic women because he needs help to learn a few things. But don't get me wrong -- I do not really wish him on any woman. He speaks the drivel.

This man is very moronic who thinks that by offering to pay for a dinner on a date he will establish the entitlement of a woman. He wishes. How sad that such a simple-minded person has a large audience.

That is so sad. I think I would not be able to watch this train wreck of a program.

Yes, although this seems only to cover the physically violent abusers. How to deal with the mentally, emotionally, financially, sexually, and interpersonally abusive ones is yet to be dealt with, but the physically violent ones would be good to start with, yes. A registry is an excellent idea.

It is disturbing when you realize how common abuse and abusers are. Our culture breeds it by rewarding selfishness and emotional illiteracy. This is true especially for men, but really for everyone.

All the prying questions cannot and should not be answered. Just tell him that is not something you discuss with people you do not know yet, and ask him why he wants to know.

Is there such a thing as someone so low they aspire to scrotehood?? Disgusting, foul, repulsive narcissist. I long for justice for you.

I have an idea. How about she rolls the payout into a retirement account, buy her own house, moves out of "BF" house, and goes no contact with "BF." He is using her.

I agree. The situation reveals every false friend, and usually there will be a hell of a lot of them. Good riddance! Leaving openings for decent, loving people!

It is hard. The best I can say about it is it has given me a clear focus. The hardest part is many people want me to "go back" to being "nice," and so I feel very alone much of the time. However, I will take "alone with self-respect" over "in company without self-respect" if those are my only frickin choices. You got this. Take the vow, and walk the walk. Just make sure you are wearing your as$-kicking boots.

I do not much care for "girls" but accept it when it is used to evoke a lightheartedness about a group event, like "girls' night out." But even then I am not a big fan. Now when it comes to "gals," if anyone around me uses that term I automatically feel disappointed in them, and particularly if the person is a woman because that term smacks of the patriarchy and makes me want to hurl.

How grotesque. From that last doozy: "Please call if you would like this arrangment [sic]." "... if you would LIKE... " This is not mere delusion, it is psychosis. Seeing each and every one of these crusty doofuses get trolled, tortured and discarded would sadly be extremely satisfying to me. Talk about "he had it coming." Also, there may be a script in this...

This sub is, besides my daughter, a place where I come to read the perspectives of sane women. Having grown up in a family that still blatantly values males over females, I had a long, slow climb out of the well of low self-esteem. Finally, a few years ago, I left my 26 year long marriage to someone who would generously be called a scrote here on FDS. He is some variation of pathological liar, skilled manipulator, and desirous of power. It took me a very long time to see and to accept what he is…

I am living this "abusers stick up for other abusers" dynamic right now, unfortunately. The abuse is part of the whole family system and must never be questioned on pain of excommunication. At this point, I am thinking "Bring me my excommunication!"

It is not worth trying to rescue or help or enlighten anyone. My age peer female relatives have the PickMe mindset, and to them, someone who does not have that mindset is merely a PickMe who is "not right in the head." That describes me, according to my sister, the gaslighter. Maybe younger women are different. I hope so.

Yes, and then there is the good old-fashioned trauma bonding. Information about it is available, but apparently not to mental health professionals, who receive virtually no training about it. The technique of using intermittent reinforcement with a target results in a trauma bond for the target if they feel invested and do not recognize the technique as such and leave.

These two have a mutual delusion society going. The language of the "report" is truly grotesque, but sadly, many readers will just lap it up without any question. Disgraceful.

Girlfriend searched through his emails because she smelled something off. Her sniffer was of course correct. If you really love her, let her know that her inner voice/intuition/gut instinct is a superpower, and she would be wise to get married to it and never spend a day apart again. And yes, that means dumping the scrote permanently and WITH Extreme Prejudice. I have come to believe that what is done to undermine a woman's self-respect, even and especially when she does it to herself, is a matt…

That is not a grudge though. It is you drawing a rational conclusion about the person's character based on their behavior. You are wise to listen to your inner voice/soul.

Absolutely yes, and I have often reflected on this fact with regret for how I repeatedly abandoned myself by ignoring my own inner voice, and prioritizing "relationships" with Wanker McScrotes over my relationship with myself. This was one tough lesson for me to take in.

This situation lays bare the many ways that the average woman is socialized to make excuses for men of bad character, and to think in such a distorted way, that once finding out that he has bad character, we feel guilty about acting to protect ourselves from them. This "FWB" deceived her, and everyone else on the dating site, with respect to his age, obviously so that he would be more likely to connect with younger women who would ordinarily not be interested in him due to his age. Okay, so he i…

Why do they hate their own family members, esp wives? Because they look upon them as things, not people, and have unrealistic expectations based on their delusional belief in their superiority: "Why has the shine faded from my wife? Why does she expect things from me, like respect and reciprocity? I do not even understand what those words mean. I need respect (translation: worship and subservient obedience)." Men in our culture are conditioned to think and behave like entitled, spoiled toddlers.

How does an empty, porn-addicted shell of a male human become so delusional that he believes this appalling garbage message will be read by a female human as attractive? What a sad sad message filled with sound and fury and signifying nothing.

Absolutely sickening behavior on his part, and your description and unsparing analysis is painfully familiar and spot on. His behavior is sad and weak and on some level he surely knows it, yet patriarchy also means he gets to immediately externalize everything negative in him onto the nearest female. The hive mind of these manchildren is nauseating.

Oh yes. Big disrespect. My narcissistic ex would do this frequently, and if we were walking with a third person, he would try to walk ahead of me with them, and do his uber-intensity act on them, trying to get that person listening to him. Lord knows what he was telling them, but probably some lies about me! I was very confused by his conduct before I understood narcissism and entitlement. What a sad and weak little scrote he is. SMH and walk away. This is my mantra now. Getting lots of steps in…

I know it is best not to gratify such a text with a response, but several responses leap to mind: "Get behind me, Satan!" "No thanks, brother, I'm not thirsty." "That's such a tempting offer. One of the favorite pastimes of narcissists is projecting their own behavior and motives onto others, especially their SO. Narcissists are able to speak with an unshakeable authority on any subject, especially ones they know nothing about, which is probably why you are here asking this question. Do you experience emotional empathy? Are you capable of whole object relations and object constancy? If you answer no, then maybe you are a narcissist. If yes, then you are probably not a narcissist. His…
