Not that you asked, but our marriage was great. Until we had kids. Once he realized how much work they are, he bailed. And I'm glad to be rid of him. He was a wonderful husband and a shit father. So it's better to raise them alone than the kids think that he is a representation of a "good dad."

As a woman, I don't think I'd like being pulled away from a family meal. I mean, where is this taking place? A restaurant? If that's the case, maybe wait until the lady has fewer people around her and just say "hi" while making good eye contact. Smile at her another time in the same interlude. If she seems interested, you can try just giving her your number (written down) and let her decide. That's a tricky situation.

It ain…

Just walk up and talk. The worst that can happen is a woman is not interested. And so what if she's not. There are plenty more out there and you're bound to find one that is interested. I subscribed to this thread thinking it was about seduction in the general sense. I'm a 43f and recently single. Been out of the dating game for 15 years. But I will tell you gents this, women are not mythical beasts. Just talk to them. If they aren't into it, walk away and let it go. I guarantee you'll eventuall…

Yes. Exactly. I mean he's a great friend. But we would not be compatible as a couple. I want to pound him mercilessly every time I see him. It's ridiculous.

Lady PBI here. Currently obsessed with my FWB. Not romantically, but physically. It's a terribly off putting feeling. And yet I sort of like it.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
