I don't want to be a part of a sisterhood where people are still complaining about the end of the subreddit after these women already explained the mental and emotional toll it took on them to moderate all the hateful/misogynistic/sexual/threatening comments. I would never knowingly put another woman through that for my own convenience. I don't want to share the same space with insecure women that are resentful of other women simply because of their access to men. I think it's high time the enti…

I got the joke. Even if one didn't understand the reference, it was very evident in her tone that she was joking. There's only one type of woman that get annoyed by another woman calling herself attractive and I'm glad they're removing themselves from FDS. Ladies, pro tip: a great way to cull the haters out of your friend group is to start hyping yourself up. Jokingly act conceited and observe which "friend" starts making snide comments, frowns, smirks or give side eyes. The only people who woul…

Exactly. Chris Rock has been going at the Smiths for years. He also seems to really hate black women. The hate is in his comedy. That documentary "Good Hair" was a thinly veiled call out. He's constantly laughing about black women's hair with white people, even laughing about Michelle Obama's hair with white men. His hatred of black women is so obvious that his own peers have called it out. Years ago Katt Williams, a fellow black male comedian, has accused Chris Brown of hating black women. Ever…

I went on the pill too because I was having really painful and heavy periods. I would take the pill continuously for months at a time. I should note my face was clear before being on the pill. After a few years on the pill I decided to stop taking it. At first my periods were bearable but it would get progressively more painful each month. After a year off the pill I noticed I was getting acne like crazy. I'm talking about blemishes all over my face filled with dried oil. I've never had that typ…

Everything - Alanis Morissette I'm a perfectionist in the worst way. It seems like I spend all the "quiet time" in my head going over all my physical and personality flaws. I keep pushing myself to be perfect and that usually involves extremely toxic self-talk. This song is a nice reminder that the people in my life love my quirks and I should spend some time appreciating my "good" traits too.

In their mind it's a war against women and a man siding with women is a traitor, it's all a game for them Yes!!! These are the same type of men that run to the women in their life for comfort whenever the slightest thing goes wrong. That's not how war works, sweatie, go let one of your comrades comfort you!

I'm sorry, I 100% agree with your take, OP, but I don't agree with the author's explanation and conclusion. I'm done pretending males are just ignorant to the pain and trauma of rape. They seem to understand it just fine when it's male on male rape. I've never heard a male question why a male on male rape victim would go into a deep depression, commit suicide, lash out at those around them, have a psychotic break, or turn to criminal behaviour. They all acknowledge the fear and trauma of being o…

I had to swiftly back out of her Twitter yesterday to preserve my sanity. Every single male that responded to her break up tweets with empathy was flooded with comments from males accusing him of capping and being a simp. I hate that there's so many shit men with a vested interest in ensuring other men are just as shitty. NVM logic: Why better yourself as a man when you can just convince other males to be just as horrible? God forbid you validate a beautiful woman, we don't need her recognizing …

LMAO. Can you please make a list of 10 equally "horrible" people that are in the public eye? I'm trying to see something.

Thank you for this post! I decided over a year ago that Meghan Markle would be my Racist/Insecure Woman litmus test. It never fails. It scary how quickly the ugliness comes out, it's like they can't help themselves. Just show sympathy for Meghan and suddenly the masks fly off and you see the ugly side of some women. Envy is a very disfiguring disease...

Uh... what? I listened to that song over a hundred times and now I find out that "I know I gave it to you months ago, I know you're trying to forget" was referring to the scar?! Also, I thought "sunglasses" was just some douche wearing sunglasses indoors but according to someone on genius: “Sunglasses” is a slang term for police officers that references their common use of aviator shades in movies. The narrator of the song has given his girlfriend a scar (which he deeply regrets) because of fool…

"The Reason" by Hoobastank. I loved it when I was younger, it was so soothing. I recently listened to it again and my mind was racing wondering what "things" he did and how exactly he "hurt" her. A song that once seemed remorseful now seems manipulative...

I'm Christian, very traditional when it comes to love and marriage. My BFF is Muslim and I'm close with her family. Her family loves me and have told me many times I'd "make the perfect Muslim woman". I primarily hung around the Muslim community when I was in uni. I also know someone who counsels a lot of Muslim men. That being said, I would never date a Muslim man because the very small sector of Muslim men that I'd date (extremely devout and honour women) wouldn't even entertain the idea of da…

She wrote that after the fact, she found out “my intruder had unplugged my Christmas lights that were tightly wrapped around my balcony post, and had cut/tore approximately 2 feet of cord from it.” There's no way he can play this off like he was under the influence of drugs or alcohol. He was there to hurt her.

So right after feeding his body, she decides to feed his ego too... She's gorgeous and now this (more than likely average-looking) asshole has a beautiful woman crying over him for the whole world to see. It's so painful to watch. I know the hurt was blinding her but why, instead of TikTok, didn't she first seek out her friends or family for comfort? Where is her support system and why haven't they convinced her to take this shit down??

If we haven't had sex in a while, my vagina literally feels like it's going to tear when we have sex again because my vagina just naturally tightens and contracts and kind of shuts herself off, but he says it feels great for him (which I believe). So I know that that's not the problem. Well, as long as he feels great. Totally not a problem /s OMG I hope this is fake. This woman is looooooooost. She has no issue with the fact that he treats her like a sex toy and takes pleasure in her pain, she's…

First of all, I'm really sorry you went through that. I think therapy may be worth a try, but it's ultimately up to you. Best case scenario: He's desperate to know what happened so he can get (his version of) justice for you. Some men (and women) are "fixers", the type who will give their partner a million and one solutions to her problem when all she was doing was venting. Or he can be the type who cannot let a "mystery" go unsolved. He might not understand that he's really hurting you when he …

So, not only was she taking care of him while he's an unemployed writer, but she sold her most prized possession to save the life of his (he's the original owner) dog?! All the while he's sitting on money?!! Whew, I'd either be in jail or in a psych ward after that reveal.

In my experience, this guys were absolute losers who hoped that immigrant/foreign women would have standards low enough to deal with their LV asses. Often they were abusive narcs and, seeing that the women from their own country would not tolerate their behavior, thought that immigrant women might be vulnerable/"non-feminist" enough to put up with it. This is so obvious in the 90 Day Fiance franchise. The worst of the worst acting like they're a prize just because they're dangling a visa.

LVM men make up all kinds of crazy narratives about women just to justify their past, present, and future bad behaviour.

You're welcome, and I hope you can get to the point where you don't feel like you did something wrong. Instead, you should feel proud for standing up for what's right, even at great personal cost. That makes you a heroine and you put majority of your family to shame. Thankfully, you can choose who you call family going forward <3 her·o·ine /ˈherōən/ noun a woman admired or idealized for her courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities

Wow, your incubator sounds like an all around horrible human being. I hope your sisters weren't dumb enough to believe it. Her reasoning doesn't even make any sense. Anyone who would believe that already has a low opinion of you and I hope you've cut them out of your life. You showed such bravery, strength and integrity at such a young age, you shouldn't still have to deal with gullible, spineless idiots. Please don't ever be afraid to tell your story. Your mother took away from the women's movement, not you. I question any movement or organisation that requires one to hide the truth. Hiding the truth just gives the enemy another weapon to use against the ENTIRE movement rather than the individual person. The capability of every human to lie is why I don't subscribe to the #BelieveAllVictims part of the #MeToo movement. My faith in people has evaporated years ago. There is not one person who I think is not capable of rape. There's also not one…

Pity the woman and her future kids. If anything, that statement and her brother's actions indicates she comes from a family dynamic where they prioritize the abuser's future and reputation over justice for the victim. Who knows how many time he's physically abused her in their childhood and all the parents did was make him apologise and ask her to "take responsibility for antagonising him". I see this dynamic in so many families, including my own.

Dodged a huge bullet! I bet his idea of a date was going to be hangouts in his room at his mom's house, watching Netflix (his friend owns the account) on his shitty phone, while you provide the food since he "provided the entertainment." Or bumming around at your place, eating your food and drinking your liquor. "If you have a kid ur the one that needs a job not me" No mention of being between jobs, getting laid off, side hustles, or studying. Sounds like dude isn't even looking for a job, but h…

With all the news stories of men "accidentally" killing women during "consensual" sex acts (and most of them don't seem remorseful), I think the post could be true.

I hate this excuse so much. Even if one hand wasn't enough, there are so many outlets that don't involve another living thing. They (young deviants) have no empathy but they sure count on the empathy of those around them once they get caught!

It's about respect for me. Once I lose respect for a man, the attraction is gone. I start to feel disrespected by their mere presence. All their little mannerisms that I once thought were cute, start to fill me with disgust. What was once attractive about them turns repulsive. It's like a switch flipped.

According to the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services , on September 16, 1994, the NYPD's Sex Offender Unit arrested Petty for “sexual intercourse” with a 16-year-old female. 1994 was 26 years ago. Petty is 41. 41-26= 15 So, he was either 15 or 16 years old when he was convicted for raping his 16-year-old ex-girlfriend. I don't understand how paedophilia entered the equation. So many people keep repeating it so obviously I'm missing something. I know Nicki's brother is a pedophil…
