I don't care about looking weak. Too many people are worried about "seeming strong" and that being conscious of others is a weakness. I do see your point to an extent, but being mindful is not weak. Ignorance is weak. You can say your thoughts, but also think about who will be receiving it and how it might come across to them

Yeah, there are weird weird kids and then the outcasts. Hate to go race way with this, and preemptive apology if anyone takes this wrong, but she appears to be the only white girl in the room. Likely she is a minority in the school, and regardless of race when you are part of the minority you are targeted. Pack mentality and all. There was some previous angst behind that shove and the subtle flick off definitely shows her dislike but not overt confrontation until the step

Nice catch, it was subtle. I thought the kid was just reading or resting her head but after you pointed out, it does appear to be a passive aggressive flick off. I will stand by my original thought in assuming she is probably tormented at that school. Pure speculation of course, has the whole outsider feel. They didn't seem to notice or care about the finger, but the main trigger for girl appeared to be the (likely unintentional) stepping in her arm. Edit : Words
