I used to work for a car insurance company, just on the phones. Every so often a young guy would ask me, “Why is car insurance more expensive for us?” It’s because there are more young guys on the roads. Young guys often rush out to get a car as soon as they’re old enough to drive, whereas young girls don’t really care about it. Sometimes they wait years and years, not getting their license until their mid twenties.
