I told my story cuz someone mentioned that victims should go to the cops, and I said they aren’t going to help always. The person even said that their abuser won’t even have court for months and there’s a possibility it won’t even happen at all. I didn’t even see him, it was creepy. The messages aren’t so threatening, I never respond. It’s always “can we try again” “forgive me” then when I don’t respond or block him, another account will be made and that’s when he’ll just say perverted things to me lol. I have him blocked on social media lol, I talk to his mom whenever he wants to see our son, and I always tell her to be there so it’s supervised. Even though I have him blocked, sometimes he’ll make other accounts to message me. They told me I have to file a restraining order within 3 months since he last attacked me. It had just been 3 months when I finally reported him, for threatening to kill me and coming to my house. I called and told the hotline and then police everything that he did. He admitted to everything, but only got 1 night in jail. He’s on bench probation, which is just a slap on the wrist.
