No, you're not. You're supposed to go to the sex as fast as she is comfortable with. Every woman is different. In that specific case you still need to make her a bit comfortable. At least don't pressure her into having sex. "We should meet because we both aren't looking for anything serious" would put a lot of pressure on her and you don't want that. Make it happen """naturally""" (or at least make her feel that way).

It's a bit more complicated than ego issues. Some men really suffer from having no sexual life. Lack of sexual life is a physical and mental pain. Go tell someone who's 35 and had not have sex in the past 6 years that he should have an abundance mindset and "act alpha".
