The services women provide to society as a whole by having children are greater than the ones men would get from cheaper driving(children keep fertility rate up and with it future tax base). Women do visit the doctor more, they are more likely to have regular check-ups and thus more likely to use preventative steps and catch problems before they get too large and become very expensive. Men on the other hand are less likely to visit the doctor until the problem is large and serious and thus expensive.
