My own mother told my I'm an arrogant know-it-all. The only thing I've ever tried to do was help everyone have a better life than I've had but then again she couldn't think herself out of a wet paper bag

I have much the same experiences in life. I've stopped worrying about it, I don't really care if they like me or not. I'm fine doing my own thing.

I was never a bar or night club person. I'd much rather a nice dinner and a drink or two at a quiet pub

Be honest with them. Tell them you are not interested right now, you have other thing you want to accomplish first. If they push ask them to respect your wishes. Explain to them you will find a girlfriend when the time is right for you. At 25 you are an adult. You are responsible for your actions and in charge of your life. Your parents should respect this. Be honest and respectful to them. Best of luck

Don't put up with that shit! If she can't communicate her issues she's not worth having a relationship with.

I disagree. There is nothing wrong or incorrect about living your life and keeping an eye on the world around you. I think it's kind of stupid not too. Leaving yourself blinded to the ongoings of the world is asking for trouble.

As a single male I have had more attached (married/ltr) women pursue me in a sexual manner than single women for just a date...

She doesn't respect him and clearly thinks his opinion doesn't matter otherwise she would not have acted in that way in regards to the conversation. This is a sign that the relationship is already running thin. Might as well nip it in the bud before she moves on to someone else

Unfortunately there is a small area of Ontario that has the ability to decide what party wins because of the amount of votes that come from there

Well if you take the time to read that story you will see he wasnt there because he was away for work. Like most men, working to support his family while she sits at home. She should be protecting her family, not killing them.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
