Sometimes her family (flaming c~nt of a sister) is who turns her against you ..

It doesn't help when her flaming c~nt of a sister is feeding her EMOTION DRIVEN (bad) legal advice... Despite having nothing more than a HS diploma, a half-finished cosmology degree, and her own divorce, and manipulative toxic relationship to base it on.

I am nowhere near done with mine ... Been separated for 18 months ... Haven't officially filed yet (for reasons) ... And I know already that I have no interest in getting married again ... Hell I don't have any interest in even having a long term relationship ... I'd like to have sex again ... But I am not going to try to start "hooking up" like I did in my 20's FWIW, I'm 53, wife is 43, kids are 16/14/12.

I am a huge fan of HIIT programming. I did 5 miles on an elliptical machine in 30 minutes today, then went and did a total of 160 one-handed kettlebell swings (20kg/45#), 8 sets of 10 each arm. Dripping with sweat and gulping for air when I was done, but GAWDAYUM did it feel good.

The gym (exercise in general) is AMAZING for your mental and emotional health! For me, it burns out all the anxiety and stress and clears my mind. It is NOT a "place to meet chicks" but rather a place for you to be with yourself and challenge yourself and learn to believe in yourself and become a better version of yourself. Don't discount therapy. For me it was a bit of a "blow to my ego" to start. I'm a DIY type of guy, I'm in a career that demands you be physically and mentally and emotionally…

If you drink, stop. If you do any other "recreational drugs", stop Find a good therapist. It works. Get in the gym.

On paper, yes. In our hearts, I don't know. Been separated for a year. No filings, not even an honest discussion about filing.

An excerpt from our ceremony: Today we cross an invisible line. We leave behind our yesterdays and start our lives anew. The past is over. We concern ourselves only with the future. It is a new day, a new commitment, a new life. The vows we take today will change us forever.

No. Not at all. A commitment is a commitment. It is a LIFETIME COMMITMENT.

I fear I may be forced to go this route too .. We are prolly 6 months from actually filing and starting this, but she makes +/- 2x what I make. But she has taken loans against whole life policies we took out ON HER as INVESTMENTS.

Get an experienced, respected Family Law/Divorce attorney. And not one of the "firms" you see and hear advertised.

I would like to get mine. I'd put them in a box and share them with the kids when they are grown. But my STBXW 's manipulative cunt of a sister went through my house, took everything and anything that had to do with me and/or us and LITERALLY threw them in piles in corners of rooms.

Damn. You just described mine. Fueled by her divorced, manipulative cunt of a sister. I am the monster. She is the saving grace. Her and the STBXW can raise them together with the SIL's 7-yo daughter. SIL got knocked up by a "townie" during her "ho phase" after her divorce, when she left her XH and 21-yo son in another state and moved back to her hometown. But she has no job, no income, is totally reliant on the Baby Daddy, and is looking for a "way out".

I can respect that. Just like I can respect a couple who chooses to not have children (my best friend and his wife). I will never judge either.

Look at my post from last night. This coming Saturday is/was/will be 17 years. We've been separated for 18 months. It's the most empty I have ever felt. Because I too was/still am a believer that marriage is a lifetime commitment.

Reddit was being stoopid. Was trying to post the "It's over Anakin, I have the high ground" meme. It didn't work. I hate that.

I am struggling with this in a way myself. In fact I just talked about it with my therapist this morning. My wife is keeping my children from me (she denies this... says they don't want to see / talk to me) she has a close relationship with her sister (whom I've never gotten along with particularly well) who I believe is continually reinforcing that #I am the "bad guy". Yet, no matter what, I will not say a bad word about my wife. ESPECIALLY# not to or around my children. No matter how this all …
