In my twenties I wanted men also in their twenties. I married a guy two years younger. Not an insult. Just young women want young men.

Ok. As a woman I would never date ten to fifteen years older. Maybe five.

Please don’t give up on your kids. They go through stages. Every teen girl hates their mom at some point. If I gave up that would be it. A month later they love you again. Remember tantrums during toddler stage? Just different forms of maturity with divorce thrown in to add complexity. Keep showing up. Also fair to explain budget. That is good for them!

Gosh guys lurking here and as a woman I see you. A better woman for you is there if you want one. You may not need or want one. Think about that. That said I think my single friends would love a guy that has such capability to love. Just saying….hang in there.

Such an enlightening conversation. As a woman this sh!t is real but I have seen family and friends not allow their husbands to do anything…then silently seethe…glad to hear so many guys are stepping up to the plate.

Sorry equal rights for women contributed to divorce? If that is the case good. Love, compatibility, respect and attraction keep couples together. Good riddance to being in a horrible marriage because economically you can’t leave.

Age is just a number. If she looks good then not a consideration.
