She was early 20s, and a touch of fame; she was Chocolate George's teenage 'old lady', before his fatal accident. She met her Gypsy Joker at that famous biker-gang funeral truce, and then me 3 years later.

Ain't it the truth. I was impoverished college student so rented cheapest place I could find. Turns out that's also where biker gang's 'old ladies' stayed while waiting for their men to get out of nearby state prison. The women lived there for prisoner weekly visiting rights. These women grabbed me as soon as I showed up, and hooked me up with HB9 stripper (she preferred 'exotic dancer'), with "Property of Gypsy Jokers" tattooed on her ass. Didn't worry me, her 'old man' was in for longer than m…

People don't like what you're saying but it's one of the great truths of life. I was bottom-of-the-pile at everything in grade school. Targeted myself to long slow climb up to average. Got used to repeat failure where only progress was learning what not to do. Without witnessing my failures, others saw rising achievement where I saw my own mediocrity. After years of working on a goal I'd look around and find no competitor. "Well, it most not have been important. I'll find another goal." Got used…

I don't know. Adults never told me why it was happening. I'm guessing their thought process. The first paddling occurred when I contradicted something a girl told me and she complained to a teacher. edit: The girls didn't start my paddling, that was school admin. When girls realized they could have me beaten at will, some took advantage. I figured out how to reduce it in 3rd grade and ended it completely 4th grade.

Commented these before: - Due to shyness, kept to myself during grade school recess. The all-female teachers decided that made me a threat and principal agreed I should be paddled with a 1"x4" board if any girl said my name. This went on for couple years before I figured out what was going on and how to stop it. - As part of my 'Loser' label, I was graded low regardless of weekly class scores. Held back a year in 4th grade; only kid in school to flunk a grade. - I had NO money. When I asked for …

Went to school ages ago, long before current culture. through prolonged experience with grade school admin's power abuse, learned to practice absolute MGTOW at school. Did not talk to / interact with girl classmates at all from 4th-9th grade. I'd become athletic/attractive/respected by HS and girls from out of town tried for my attention. Local girls knew it was hopeless. Carried my well-earned caution into college. Heavily pursued by coeds in college, and deflected all of them. After long obser…

'Trophy wife' takes some explanation. They're not Melania-style replaceable decoration. They need to be intelligent, well-educated, attractive, interesting, competent, and independently successful. Their primary use to corporate is providing a stable, stress-free home environment so executive can concentrate on business. They invest broad skills in enabling their spouse's goals in life. Melinda Gates is example of a trophy wife. When my wife's insurance company was purchased by international inv…

First few years with vasectomy in my late 20s, new women would insist they had no interest in children. After 2-3 months of active sex, they'd suggest I get it reversed for no particular reason. After few more months of no luck with that, they'd move on to their next target. After I'd had vasectomy for more years, fewer women thought they could persuade me but some stayed and tried. By my early-30s a new pool of successful women sought me out as ideal to their life goals. None have complained ab…

I was incredibly dense in my teens & 20s and thought I needed to be highly educated, top athlete, and moneyed to get a woman. Overshot the goal and found myself attracting upper-class business professional women. All in their late 20s to mid-30s. Uniformly attractive, well-educated, competent, confident, and adventurous (and fair-minded). My type of women. Also all higher income than mine. Get vasectomy early on, deflect pressure to marry, and fish in the upper-class dating pool. No risk of gett…

My teachers had low opinion of me in grade school and middle school. I was taken to school principal and paddled with 18" wood paddle if a girl said my name. Seriously. After flunking 4th grade, I gave up on school and set about educating myself. Read every non-fiction book in grade school, middle school, high school, city library, and county library. Working my through library interstate exchange system when I graduated HS with highest SAT scores in school district. I would've been screwed if i…

Want teamwork from women? Get a vasectomy and don't get married. Make yourself slim and fit. Find things you want to do in life and do them. Basically, take away their leverage and make yourself attractive. Without a legal hold on you, women will invest effort to get and keep you. If you want teamwork, you got it.

Vasectomy shouldn't be optimum solution, but is best choice under the circumstances. I made myself into a prime male for my own satisfaction and purposes. I was a top biathlete, with state swimming and running endurance times & durations. Tall, well-educated, attractive, confident, and adventurous. Unfortunately, I was also socially oblivious. Couldn't figure out women. Unlimited supply of women interested in sex, but many/most of them openly wanted a baby. I had a pretty good idea that would co…

Way back 40 years ago I was employed as Washington State child support enforcement officer. Took me less than a year of watching Family Court's "justice" system to get a vasectomy of my own, while single in my 20s. There is no way I'd leave myself vulnerable to that system, and it hasn't got any better since then. Vasectomy saved my ass.

Sorry, I phrased it poorly. I try to encourage younger guys, all guys, to take care of their bodies. Not for women but for yourself. Life is so much better with a healthy, fit body. The way women and others respond to it is an auxiliary side benefit.

Yet another reason to take care of your body and health. Get slim and fit, and stay that way. It's your choice and under your control. Dozens of women have tried to bed me, including some over-the-top efforts to signal interest. None made even slightest attempt at intimidating me. Be pointless since it would terminate her chances.

This is the answer. When I wanted a vasectomy in my 20s & single I was warned doctors might reject me. I simply made my 1st call to a doctor 40 miles away. It was obvious I'd keep looking if I didn't get the answer I wanted. Was told over the phone my status wouldn't be a problem.

I've encountered intriguing counter-argument in Navajo mesa villages. Extracted from Wikipedia: Navajo people and culture dates back to around 1400 CE, making them longest-enduring culture in US. Their clan system is exogamous, meaning people can only marry (and date) partners outside their own clans, including clans of their 4 grandparents. Navajo society is largely a matrilineal system, in which the family of the women owned livestock, dwellings, planting areas and livestock grazing areas. Onc…

It's not safe to play with your own school's coeds. You don't need to, there's plenty of women in town and at neighboring colleges. I went to school decades ago and even then knew female classmates were dangerous. No problem with coeds from other colleges. It's not what coed classmates can do to you, it's what they can get your school to do to you. The hell with that risk.

I've had relationships with dozens of women. I see no reason to be concerned about women also being experienced. I'd be concerned if she didn't have prior partners. I like intelligent, successful, healthy, fit, confident, quality women, who like sex. If she's all of that, she's competent enough to find earlier sex partners. And that suits me. She'll be smart and experienced enough to not screw up our relationship. Life is much better with a competent, reliable partner who respects you and helps …

Women have that advantage into their late 20s. As a man, even in your early 20s, you don't have to muscle up to make yourself high sexual value. Lean and fit is rare enough to stand out. As a preteen I was hopeless at team sports so took up endurance activities (running, swimming, climbing). I went from not being able to run or swim 30' without stopping to rest... to running/swimming for hours/miles without strain. Did it for myself, not anybody else. Due to being socially oblivious I was unawar…

Losing weight is an inactivity. Stop eating things that are bad for you; stop snacking between meals and stop drinking sugar sodas. Getting fit is getting a decent night's sleep and simple activity. Go to bed early and go for 45-minute walk before breakfast. Do that until it's a habit. Add in wind sprints when it gets boring. In a few years you'll realize top-quality women have been going out of their way to chat you up. Change your habits and your life changes too.

I grew up poor and badly treated by girl classmates. Gave up on dating. Also hopelessly bad at team sports. Started endurance running/swimming in grade school. Slowly and patiently pushed out my range. By 1st year HS, I outran upperclassmen. Last year of HS, I held state distance swimming record. Girls started paying attention but I'd given up on them. By college, women were becoming more & more persistent. I didn't know how to deal with it so just deflected them. By the time they became impossi…

I'm alpha bux. I wouldn't spend time with women like that other than mild entertainment. If she was talking at me, I'd respond mildly while seeing if another woman in her group was more interesting. Smart women do the same, watching to see your response to their "friend".

All relationships ended on friendly terms, normally with occasional sex until they find their next relationship. State administrator: she wanted kids, I wouldn't reverse my vasectomy. State judge: I was set on years of world travel, she had a career. Movie producer: two separate careers, mine took me away. Corporate VP: permanent lasting relationship, she died of cancer. edit: What finally changes is making enough money you no longer need a career.

I only choose strong, intelligent women. My last 4 long-term relationships were with a corporate vice-president, a movie producer, a state judge, and a state administrator. They were each at the top of their fields, and got there through work, determination, and competence. They put life effort into their chosen fields. What they were not, was happily independent. Something I figured out very early on was don't get involved with coeds from your own school. It's not worth the risk. Plenty of girls from town and from other colleges are happy to sex you up. And they don't have your school admin's power to harm you. Many female classmates (and staff) tried to get my attention. I deflected them all. Stay safe guys.

You can connect with a person who becomes integral with your life. My future wife and I were both high-value individuals with our own flaws. Top percentile, making us both 10 on value & attraction. We both recognized each other's strengths and weaknesses. How it worked out was we covered each other's weakness, without interfering in each other's life goals. I had an employer foist a change of terms (non-compete clause) on existing employees. Dropped the sheets in front of each of us and said we had to sign and return it. I left mine on my desk (unsigned) for a day and threw it away. Boss came back to me twice more with same demand. I was nervous 1st time, but quite comfortable telling her to leave it on my desk the next 2 times. I'm very happy with my choice of vasectomy in my 20s. Several subsequent sex partners were displeased with my vasectomy, and the vasectomy clearly saved my economic future. "Many men suffer lingering pain ..." isn't an accurate description. If epididymis swelling bothers you it's correctable with minor surgery, though seldom required: The American Urological Association (AUA) estimates about 1 to 2 percent of men experience chronic scrotal pain after the procedure. They rarely require further su…

Sorry this happened to you. In hindsight, the correct response would've been to excuse yourself to go to the bathroom and tell a flight attendant you're being sexually harassed by your seat partner and need to be reseated elsewhere. They won't want the liability, and with other seats available on the flight, they'd give you another seat. If flight attendant doesn't give you another seat, ask a different one. Even back in the 1970s, Family Court was clearly fixed against men. My early career went through 5 years with DSHS (Washington State Department of Social & Health Services). In those 5 years, in literally every contested child custody case, she got the kids, he got screwed. And within my first 2 years there, while single in my 20s, I got a vasectomy. I liked that situation when I was young, They all bought 'fixer-up' starter houses and were quickly over their head on repair/remodel. I got passed around like the town slut. As soon as one gave me up, a better one was waiting in line. Trivial easy work for me and they couldn't be more appreciative & grateful. I was free to move to new city for new job on short notice. There was always a collection of prime women in the new town eager for the new handy guy. I learned a lot in those years.

Just the opposite. From age 30 on quality men become scarcer and more valuable. There are far more prime women than there are prime men. Quality women are in surplus supply. If you want one, they're available. The only effort involved is convincing her you're actually interested. Successful women have a clear view of the world and from their 30s on, know their chance at getting a SO are slipping away. If they luck into a trophy male, they will not let him go. My gf at UW was nursing student. She was assigned a post-surgery transsexual roommate as part of their gender role transition. I thought that was interesting and wanted to meet her roommate. My gf refused. This was back before breast augmentation was common and surgeons had given her roommate an unnaturally ideal figure. My gf complained every time she brought a new date back to her apartment, her roommate would steal them to exercise her new vagina. I don't believe OP's 98% statistic.

I don't do one-night stands. If I'm interested, I tell them to have early lunch with me tomorrow. Otherwise my answer to their offer is "No". After man's early-mid 30s he chooses women, not the other way around. I don't fuck until I've had long, comfortable talk(s) and walks with potential partners. Vasectomy doesn't take away your cum. Sperm accounts for only 2%-5% of volume of a man’s ejaculate and only sperm is blocked by a vasectomy. All the rest is still there. Neither you or she will be able to tell the difference.

60% of net pay is interesting. I was in Support Enforcement in late 1970s and we were restricted to 50% of net income, at a time when private debt collection was limited to 25% of net income. Local business offered to hire students only half way through program and pay all of their remaining school expenses (plus salary) if they would just come and work for them part-time while finishing welding course. You don't need to pay for kids to raise them. Young, poor, and starting out I lived in neighborhoods with lots of single/divorced mothers and very few men. I like kids and didn't mind answering their questions and letting them tag along with whatever DIY activities I was doing. Mothers were delighted with effect I had on their kids and were careful to keep me around. As I moved up through life, informal parenting became risky. Switched over to formal 'Big Brothers' type mentoring which tends to …

Get a vasectomy and end this bullshit in your life. Got mine while single and in my 20s. So lucky I did. Series of women saying they didn't want children but after 3-9 months would press me to have it reversed for "reasons". When I wouldn't agree, they'd soon leave, and be replaced by next woman trying the same. Would not have had a prosperous and successful life without my vasectomy.

Reddit first posted this movie a month ago, 1st I'd heard of it. Immediately checked local theaters and found most seats were sold out 2 weeks in advance. Found decent remaining single seat. First movie I'd seen in a year. It is an amazing movie. Audience was silent through the end of it, and almost everyone stayed to watch production credits. Subdued audience finally roused themselves to leave after theater lights came up. Movie really delivers the reality soldiers lived through.

Large detached house in the city for £600/month ($860) would be extraordinary in US, unless maybe if it's in an urban ghetto. I thought housing prices were high in England, even in small towns away from London. OP's cottage is valued at £225,000 and in need of repair. Using standard rent-vs-buy formula, a £225,000 house would normally rent for £1,100/month. Landlord wouldn't be making a usable profit for much less than that, unless they were doing no maintenance on it.

Not a big deal. £1.5 million ($2.1M) is comfortable, not 'wealthy' and a £225,000 ($320K) house isn't much in England. Judge also gave her £190,000 ($270K) to repair the house and retire on. Do you think you could retire comfortably on $270K and live in a small house in need of repair?

Valentine’s Day is ripe with opportunity for an enterprising Man with the ability to see it. Go hit the clubs tomorrow night, particularly the ones that cater to a 25-40 y.o. affluent crowd. V-day has extreme affect on 25-40 y.o. affluent single women. I've given up on going to upscale grocery stores, restaurants, bars, (or basically anywhere) on V-day. I get chatted up and followed around though I'm just trying to have a normal day. The least acknowledgement that they exist, the slightest comme…

OP's graphic is true but you can op out without losing much. I started social life as a dumb scrawny loser in grade school. Worked on my techno-geek interests and added endurance athletics. Took 9 years of slow progress but graduated HS with top SAT scores and top running & swimming records. That took care of dating expenses since I never needed to pay. If women wanted my company we went on cheap adventures and they paid their own expenses. By chance, one of my jobs in my 20s was working closely…

Earned highest SAT scores in our school district history. Continued that path through college and afterwards. I had the same acceptance ratio with single, partnered, and married women. No difference. With single women acceptance ratio goes up if you leave the offer open. They'll remember you during the horny part of their month. Married women are less effort since you only need to repeat the offer a second time. They've decided before you see them again.

And this is why I got a vasectomy while single in my 20s. Women's response was consistent. No objections at first, but couple months into relationship they'd suggest I get it reversed. No success with that, they'd move on to the next guy. Took 3 years and a dozen women before I met one that truly didn't want kids. Let's hear it for busy career women who just want a reliable fuck.

If you own, choose an airplane that takes down easily and trailers home. No hanger fees and I enjoy being my own A&P. Cessna's are good rentals. I'm diversified into bullion, specie and offshore accounts for extreme crisis funding. Local cash bundles are for intermediate-term crisis funding. You need money to live on while monitoring the situation. Cool head, ready cash, and time prevails in crisis. Opportune investments are made when others panic. When countries go into financial crisis they first put currency controls into place, to try to hold down inflation. Bail-ins, bank holidays, cash withdrawal restrictions can happen. There's fl…

If you own your house, stay where you are. Investment wise, shift toward cash. And I mean actual cash, bundles of bills in safe deposit box. Governments can't afford to bail out major banks again. The next bank crisis will be done with a bail in, not a bail out. If your bank fails they'll take large bank accounts but still give access to safe deposit boxes.

Not really. I'm in my 60s now and it's about the same at any age. Men don't get sympathy and know not to ask for it. Sympathy doesn't do you any good anyway. What you truly need is cooperation. In my experience government workers (bureaucrats) do their best to administer intent of the law. They appreciate anyone who tries to learn and follow rules and will usually help you if they can. Loopholes by their nature are illogical exceptions to stated intent of the law. Many bureaucrats won't know loopholes exist. The legal basis for all child support orders is that parental support obligations belongs to the child, not the custodial parent. Since parental support obligations belongs to the child, this right can't be discarded by a parent. You may find someone else to accept your obligation (adoption) but you can't just discard the child's right to support. And that's why Family Court won't honor mother/father agreements giving away a child's right to support. That support obligation belongs to the child,…

If you owe less than $2,500 get your passport immediately to keep emigration option open. Once a passport is issued it remains valid for 10 years. To my current knowledge your passport will not be flagged as in arrears after it is issued. To be on the safe side, I'd have a friend drive me to Canada for a …

Years ago I worked as a Washington State DSHS Support Enforcement Officer. We enforced Family Court child support orders. Despite being single and in my 20s, I soon got a vasectomy. Family Court scares me more than anything else in our country. Fairness is irrelevant to them. In your case, you're looking at roughly $80K-$90K in child support payments between now and the child's 18th birthday: $287 x 26 paychecks/year = $7,462/year x 12 remaining years = $89,544 That's a lot of money to lose at y…

I was in a class where instructor introduced herself with "If you aren't willing to follow my directions without question, leave right now." Presuming she was being literal, I quietly gathered my stuff and headed out. I was intercepted by TA stationed at the door who assured me instructor meant it dramatically. I returned to my seat. It was a worthwhile class, glad I stayed. After class a fellow student (8/10) told me she saw I was willing to leave, and was glad I came back. Normally wouldn't oc…

Can only tell you advice I'd give myself at your age. At ages 25-35 I needed sex and worldly knowledge/experience. Sex gets easy by late 20s; tell a random woman you want to bed her, 50% will say yes... if they're convinced you're serious. By late 30s you'll stop active pursuit because there's no effort involved; women hit on you. Then it's a matter of choosing which one to spend time with. I was a late starter and didn't spin multiple plates until I was 24-26. It's good practical experience if …

I'm not an expert on getting and keeping women so I'm probably not a good source of advice on that. I have more experience with gently deflecting women than I do with picking them up. I will tell you I paid my own way with every woman I dated. That meant when I was starting out and poor, expensive restaurants/resorts were flat ruled out. The 1st upperclass fem was absolutely a cougar MILFing me. I was late 20s, tall lean and fit. She was mid 30s with big tits, lithe and fit. It was win/win for both of us. One of the more useful lessons from my 1st upperclass fem was that 'old money' rich use their money, not spend it. She had an older architect-designed custom-built house on a forested lot in rich part of town. Furniture was classic solid birch from Denmark. We spent occasional weekends at her grandparent's big 1920s lakeside Art Deco mansion. All meals were scratch cooked/baked and served with high quality pressed cotton napkins. I like upperclass women. When I was young and naïve they were the only brutally honest women I met, and they willingly taught me how to succeed in the world. They don't lie to themselves or to you. They know they want a rich alpha, and they'll damn well make you into one if you aren't already. I went through 4 different upperclass women with each one hot-forging me into a higher level. No beta bucks. All 4 came from 'old money' and were more prosperous than I at each level. When I met my 1st upp…

It wasn't lack of money. It was purposely done to 'toughen up' the boys. They allowed open bullying for the same reason. One of the smaller and weaker boys brought a bike chain to school and flailed the skin off 3 biggest bullies in school. This was deeply embarrassing to school administrators. Small boy was allowed back in school without comment. The 3 bullies were out for medical care for 1-3 weeks and then transferred out after they refused to return to our HS.

This was effectively tried out after 1860-1870 Paraguayan War. Fatalities to military age men was so high that women outnumbered men 4-to-1, with most surviving men very old age. Lone males were kidnapped by gangs of widows and held captive until all were willing to release him. Paraguayan men did not enjoy this 'dream come true'.

Thanks, but rapist666's criticism was valid on this point. The original topic was whether experiencing more than one sex partner was harmful to an individual and dependents, or directly harmful to others. You don't need to give up sex, just don't date fellow students. I exclusively dated women from other colleges and 'townies'. It worked fine. Funny thing about college enforcement systems is they're set up for in loco parentis coeds... and not anyone else. Women from other colleges or town can't screw you over with your own school's enforcement system. You don't need to risk telling coeds 'No' outright. I socially interacted with on-campus coeds but was completely obtuse to the most blatant passe…

Let's deal with your current problem before looking at future ones. As mentioned elsewhere, I used to work for Washington State Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS), including a couple years as a Support Enforcement Officer. Long answer> I like kids and wanted to raise a few. Two big roadblocks to that: #1. I was low income and chose to live extremely frugal to build up cash assets for future opportunities. A child would wipe out assets and opportunities well into my 40s. #2. I'd had dozen GFs in previous 6 years and none lasted more than 14 months. Either they dropped me or I moved cities to follow opportunities. Clearly any relationship was unlikely to last 18 years into future. The mother would get custody and I'…

It's a harsh decision, but given the alternatives I got a vasectomy while single and in my 20s. It was a wise choice. Most women I met assured me "I don't want any children". After telling them of my vasectomy it shifts to "You have to get that reversed".

Seriously guys, get a vasectomy. I got mine while single and in my 20s. Saved my ass. Interesting shift in dating. I'd ask new GFs if they were interested in children. They all assured me they weren't. I'd tell them of my vasectomy. Couple more days of sex, then they'd start pressing me to get it reversed. After couple weeks of no persuasion they'd give up and move on to other chumps. Eventually started telling new dates right up front, just to get rid of flakes.

Agreed. Child support laws are unfair to men and are applied in the most abusive way possible. Family Court scares me badly. My knowledge may be dated and local to Washington State, but in my experiance a man to had to be (A) the natural father, or (B) married to the mother, or (C) accept paternity at some point. Later boyfriends and 'uncles' were safe from Family Court reach.

Funny thing about lawyers. In my years with Support Enforcement I met a grand total of 2 competent attorneys. One actually knew CS law and one was smart enough to ask us for applicable laws. Big city doctors are the key to young vasectomies. I didn't even try in our medium sized city other than to ask if they knew of a big city vasectomy clinic. Small hospitals and clinics need to worry about offending local busybodies. They can still safely recommend a urologist friend in nearest big city. They'll know; you need to politely ask. NY Times: The most extensive and authoritative report, published in Current Anthropology in 2006, analyzed scores of genetic studies. Birth certificates are just public records. No child support order unless Family Court gets involved. This most commonly happens when mother goes on AFDC welfare. Welfare recipient assigns child support rights/payments to the state for duration of assistance. Recipient provides a copy of child's birth certificate and interviews with Support Enforcement. If no child support order exists the state attorney goes to Family Court for a Preliminary Support Order. That's when the putative father is not…

There's advantage to dating over your age and class when you're young. Women in their early 30s are more experienced and skilled at life and have gotten over their "I'm a girl, I get my way" phase. Can only tell what I learned as a Washington State SEO. Federal law gives states right to collect and keep child support of children on welfare. Welfare mothers are required to assign all current and overdue child support to state. If state collects more in back CS than paid out in welfare, welfare is closed and surplus returned to mother. Find outside activities, relax and chat with people. Men that stay in the game find themselves attracting increasingly higher quality women. It…

From my late 20s on, most women I've dated made more than I did. It's the nature of still being on the market as you get older. Quality of available women keeps getting better as more and more men drop out of the game.

I keep reading these to see if the lying woman was punished in the US. Nope, almost always England. Occasionally New Zealand, Australia or Canada for variety. Has an American woman ever been punished for false rape accusations? No, a suspended sentence or probation doesn't count.

Good news - Bad news: Good news is this article, while well thought-out, is incorrect. It's easy to find attractive women wanting straight-forward intimate relationships. There's a surplus of them. There are more good-looking, fit, healthy, personable, and available women than there are male counterparts. Bad news is the 'male counterparts' qualifier. You need to put some effort into it. Male or female the same things attract partners. Clean yourself up and get your body thin and fit, wear reaso…

If I follow the story correctly, the groom wasn't forced to marry a 'random' woman. His future in-laws kidnapped him to avoid an illegal dowry. He married his intended bride, but his parents didn't get to collect a million rupee ($20K) dowry.

Actually it's kinda worked out okay for me. First time with a new woman I'll refuse to while they are drunk or high. Often, for really hot chicks, this is the first time any man said 'No'. No confident woman will let a conditional refusal stand. They'll either persevere all night 'till they're sober or come back the next day to take your offer.

The pedo thing held me back from mentoring in my 20s and 30s. I finally got my nerve up in my 40s. I regret not volunteering earlier. Mentor organizations are concerned about pedo paranoia, but it can be dealt with. I'll cover that when I have a day free for an AMA in a month or so.
/r/MensRights15/11/10 02:47 AM

An AMA is probably a good idea but will have to wait. I'm supervising a major construction project and wouldn't be available to answer questions as they came in. I like your sperm donor idea but you'd need to time-limit it if you intend to get a vasectomy.

No, no need... I discovered mentoring programs. They're better than having your own kid. You get to enjoy a parental relationship with intelligent, attentive kids. No risk from divorce; kids bond to you and the mother is happy to have you as a stable role model regardless of her wandering romantic interests. You don't pay child support, and the kids and mother appreciates everything you do.

That was just incompetence. I was a Support Enforcement Officer with WA DSHS for 2 years. Our office was both competent and effective with a very high collection rate. In the time I was there no assets were seized in error, not even once. Our office was open to the public. We would've heard about it if we'd goofed. The closest exception I can think of was when we correctly placed a lien on a property that was subsequently sold. Title search company screwed up and didn't discover the lien before …

You didn't read the following wiki link. "Retarded" was indeed the accepted medical term after "idiot", "imbecile", and "moron" each became inappropriate in turn. Each new term only lasts as long as it takes for it to be commonly used by the public.

"Retarded" used to be a neutral term but passed out of favor due to inexorable euphemism treadmill. Eventually "autistic" will pass out favor and be replaced with yet another neutral term. You can gild a turd, but it won't stick.

I'm not sure what was going on with that. So many told me they wanted my baby I assumed it was a common way of proposing marriage. One startling baby request came from a friend of a friend I barely knew. I noticed requests tapered off and actual marriage proposals became more common as my dating pool matured. I was socially naïve back then and missed a lot of what was going on. I'm rich now, but when this was going on I was an impoverished student and underemployed worker. I was attractive but d…

I bought a vasectomy within months of my first full paycheck. I've lost count of how many women pressured me to have it reversed so they could get pregnant. I can imagine how bad it is in Tennessee today. I thought about this problem years ago when I worked in multistory offices. Most mid-century office buildings have single-well fire stairs that double back on themselves so you can see straight down a narrow space between them. If there was a for-real disaster I intended to sling myself from staircase to staircase to get around local obstacles or congestion. That's a real-life advantage you get for staying lean and fit.

OP is an obvious exaggeration for impact, but there are some worthwhile precautions you can take: 1 Get a vasectomy early and single, and refuse to reverse it. 2 Refuse marriage requests. 3 Don't have sex with women that aren't rational, logical and considerate. This has served me well with a long, full, and varied sex life. I've never needed to go more than 2 months before finding the next relationship, and that's mostly to recover and stabilize before starting again. I try to avoid short fling…

Good grief, is your dating pool so shallow you'd even consider screwing the kid's mother? You're right about some things though; If you're doing your mentoring through a formal organization, make verbal report to the case manager after each meet day and don't take the kid to your house. If you're doing it informally, take 2 or more kids at a time unless it is a very public activity. We do live in a nutty culture.
/r/MensRights01/10/10 04:22 PM

I keep saying this; if you're an American male, get a vasectomy as early as practical. If you like kids, volunteer as a mentor. You get to have a greater impact on kids that many fathers do. Kids are appreciative because they like having a comfortable, responsible male around. Mothers are careful to stay on the good side of mentors because they know they have no legal leverage over them.

Yikes, wall of text. You don't have to get super-macho around women to protect yourself. Just get a vasectomy and refuse marriage. With those two basics in place you can relax, be yourself, and enjoy women's company.

I like women and spend more time with them than men. However, I'm also careful to protect myself from our american family court system. Best protection is to get a vasectomy early and ignore pressure to reverse it. Secondary protection is to refuse marriage until 40s at the earliest. Women are great to be around if they don't have legal power over you, and this threat is only because of our warped family court system.

Interesting. State got involved because of CPS and that's why custody was reversed. That's the one thing that trumps mother's rights. Even then, mothers are seldom ordered to pay support. I'm guessing the father was drawing AFDC/TANF when mother turned 18. When a child is on welfare, support collection rights are signed over to the state, and Support Enforcement always obtains a support order if one doesn't already exist. Presto, court ordered child support. State requested support orders tend t…

I handled a few hundred cases when I was with WA state DSHS. Given the much large numbers of cases state wide I would expect anecdotal exceptions. Your wife would be an anomaly. What's the story? I can't give you first-hand knowledge, Support Enforcement just collected whatever Family Court ordered. Some second-hand knowledge: Family court had social workers attached to advise judge on child custody. Family court judges consistently followed social worker's advice. Social workers (female) almost always recommended mother receives custody. If mother didn't want them, grandmother got 'em. Children didn't have much say in this. Women do not pay child support. I worked as a Washington State Welfare Eligibility Examiner (FST) for 3 years and then as a Support Enforcement Officer for 2 years. In my 3 years at welfare I had just one man receiving AFDCE child welfare. In my entire 5 years not even one woman had a child support order against her. None. Not a single one. I'll admit they're a little sparse young, but many girls mature into very nice women late 20s early 30s. From that age on, available women are honestly higher quality than available men. If you put a reasonable effort into being salable, there is no shortage of wonderful and appreciative women.

I've long taken a cool, deliberative approach to life's risks. I avoid women who show elements of irrationality or sociopathy. I like to meet her parents soon after getting interested in a woman. CSA or USA? In either case, this is no average child soldier. That pistol butt belongs to a revolver, a rare and very valuable weapon during the civil war, and particularly scarce among the CSA. Child soldiers on both sides were used in exposed but unarmed roles; e.g. drummer boy.

Thanks for your comprehensive reply. I have noticed how widely traveled NZ men are. I'd assumed it was temporary travel. All the kiwis we met in NZ were overwhelmingly kind and hospitable. Only 10-11 states allow common law marriages. Most important, per wiki: "Cohabitation alone does not create a common-law marriage; the couple must hold themselves out to the world as spouses". In other words, if you tell people she's your live-in girlfriend, you're safe everywhere. So, don't sweat it.

I worked on the collection side, not the family court side. Let's set aside any pretense that women pay court-ordered child support. I worked 5 years in the system and had exactly 1 case referral with a male as the custodial parent. Men don't get custody unless they are fully employed and the never-employed mother abandons the kids. In those cases the custodial father doesn't need our help, so we don't interact with them. Most of our case load came from women applying for AFDC child welfare. The…

We don't need to worry about our population dying out. Men do need to worry about protecting themselves from our bent family court system. I used to work as a state Support Enforcement officer. Is there more advice than not ever getting married and always using a condom or possibly getting a vasectomy? If I was young I'd move to Australia or anywhere else with a still-functioning culture, government, and legal system. If you choose to stay in America a vasectomy is your best option. Assuming you're serious: they both have to do with not getting screwed by the courts. Getting a woman pregnant can cost you a lot more than getting divorced. Either one sets you up to be broken by a judge. A vasectomy & a refusal to marry keeps you in control of your life.

I went through the same thought process & decided very young to never get married. I got a vasectomy in my 20s to take away that risk. Many GF pressed to marry me and/or reverse my vasectomy, but I wasn't interested. Then a long-term GF with much higher income pressed for marriage. You don't need to negotiate a prenup, just get a vasectomy. The earlier, the better. It kills the probability of getting screwed for alimony if there are no children to support. You might have to give up some of your current assets, but that's small shake compared to paying child support/alimony forever.
