Is there anything she could have done to help you? Would you have liked her less if she tried to nudge you?

Right I just thought we'll if he has had girlfriends before he can't be that shy. And surely if he liked me and see that I stare back he would muster up the courage. I thought his lack of courage / action meant he was content with just staring and or wasn't that into me But now I know that I have no idea at all.

Oh!! That makes sense. Yeah I was worried about that bc he is in charge of my friends Okay that's understandable Thank you for elaborating

Because everyone says guys move mountains for girls they like I like him emotionally I'm not sure if his feelings go beyond physical so it seems scarier to like someone emotionally than physical

I don't think it's unempathetic? I was unaware
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/22 04:01 AM

No I understand that but my friends said that if he really thought I was special he would risk it

I don't know what men feel. I assume no because it's what is taught to most men. And I know that testosterone makes men more likely to pursue so they say

I guess afraid that I would reject him is what I should have said
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/22 03:33 AM

Probaly not his dream girl No he is an absolute dream guy I'm just terrified of how much I like him
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/22 03:32 AM

We were joking around and he said haha everyone loves u and i said haha at least somebody does ( i was selling a product) and he started to say you have no idea how much ( started to say his friends name but stopped himself ) And then paused and got red and said with his eyes exaggerated said you have nooooo idea how much someone here likes you noooooooooo idea

Very into him. More than anyone I've ever liked. Most autistic guys like direct women?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/22 03:22 AM
1

That's what I thought. Thank you. I just wasn't the right woman for him

I don't understand the question I just feel like there are two types of guys who like me. The guys who are very confident and approach me. Usually the player. Or the guy who is nervous and sweet and I have to nudge him along. And in high-school it's like the guys who I nudged along didn't feel like they did their thing and didn't value me the same

Okay I will report back lol
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/22 03:13 AM

Oh wow. Really? Would you mind explaining why it doesn't change anything?

You know, people mentioned they suspected that he may have been autistic What do you suggest I do?

My friends said he would have risked it for his dream girl. That I'm not his dream girl and that's why he did not make the move

He became a superior at one point I kind of thought him being a superior would make him feel more confident and then he would ask me out. He still stared just as much. Honestly, he probably couldn't read my signs!! My coworkers were shocked that I liked him all along. I guess, if we lived in different time, there would be less pressure on him? There was the pressure of being coworkers, then being a superior for a month, on top of being socially awkward?

He won't see me as chasing him?

Oooh that's a little nerve wracking

That does sound like a struggle

I went up to him the last day and told him i had a good time working with him. No I only asked him a few questions. We really only stared at each other. We were both awkward and nervous around each other I think No I don't think life works that way. I thought it was that way for hetero relationships tho

Was the question about why I don't want to to make a move? I see this comment but I'm missing the question

I think a comment is missing?

Aw that's so sweet I didn't really think he would care that much. I like him even more now haha
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/22 02:41 AM

Do you mean if the emotional attraction is mutual? I know he liked the way I looked. He always stared at me. Frequently wide eyed. And got red when we would exchange basic pleasantries or I would ask him for help
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/22 02:36 AM

Thank you

Sorry I thought the question about sex was rethorical. Do you have another comparison? I really struggle seeing that perspective because to me that's very valuable and intimate. Sure, if you're talking about a husband feeling that way? I understand. I'm not on the same page as you yet Not sure I understand
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/22 02:12 AM

Alright well thank you. Makes sense. Didn't occur to me
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/22 02:08 AM

I do think I struggle understanding men. You're right
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/22 02:08 AM
5

Hmm that's fair you're right
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/22 02:07 AM

Also, I meant you're changing my mind in a positive way.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/22 02:06 AM
2

The only answer is that I didn't think men valued our opinions that much
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/22 02:05 AM
3

Youre right!!it felt risky to me, too!! he dated a relatively plain looking girl from work before I came. It made things awkward for him I'm sure bc they still worked there together. Maybe it was from that experience????
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/22 02:04 AM
2

That's a good idea Thank you
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/22 02:02 AM
1

I think I'm confused. I'm sorry. What question did you ask? I thought they were rhetorical. I do feel like I you're changing my mind. So, do you mean if he wanted to he would applies more when there is an established relationship? Not so much the budding of infatuation that has no conversation involved ?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/22 02:01 AM
1

Thank you I think you're right that the internet has changed my perspective
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/22 01:52 AM
3

Hmmmm, I see what you're saying. Thank you for letting me know where you're coming from. I guess it is a romanticized view. Some dating coaches also say the if he wanted to he would thing. By cut him some slack do you mean be more open? No, I adore him. He is the most compassionate man and always gave me compliments on my traits. Not my looks, men and women always compliment my looks and ignore accomplishments. He made me feel like he really liked that I was good at our job & that I was so nurtu…
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/22 01:45 AM

I don't think my views matter more. I think I can't fathom a guy being afraid of me rejecting him I thought guys kind of play by a numbers game
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/22 01:40 AM
1

Hmm I guess he was afraid I would report him on my last day? He seemed like he tried to muster up the courage twice that day. Idk I should have helped him out Thank you
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/22 01:39 AM
1

Idk I'm just too traditional I should do that
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/22 01:37 AM

Haha
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/22 01:36 AM
-2

Ugh why can't I wrap my head around a guy being scared of rejection
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/22 01:35 AM
1

I don't think so honestly Other people hinted the same Maye he lost interest!!
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/22 01:34 AM
1

Mmm probaly not that into me But his friend seemed really worried and tried to cover it up Friend is also our coworker
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/22 01:32 AM
1

Idk, they didn't sound mean spirited. It's a common phrase going around in women's circles about how men go for who they want. So,I wanted to double check with guys. Also, most of our peers think he is socially awkward
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/22 01:31 AM
-1

Hmmm well he got excited and said really you do so do I and said I was so sweet. Yeah, you're right. Guys think it's cute. The vibe is just different with guys you make a move on. Maybe I never made a move if that's not a move, tho lmao I feel like the guys in my experience think its cute but also don't see you the same as women they made the move on. I just feel in my experience guys think they have you in the bag even if you still are unsure about them. Don't try to woo you & I feel like guys …
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/22 01:30 AM
3

Well, that makes me feel for you so much. It makes me tear up. I'm sorry you are going thru that. We definitely don't have a friendship. Personally, I think no it can't stay separate. That's why I wasn't more open to him when he would say hey how are you going even tho I really really really wanted him to get closer. It was too risky and I'm risk averse. Idk, if you think you two are compatible, do you think you could get another job and then ask her out?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/22 01:27 AM
1

And do you mean he could have been fired bc his friend almost ousted his crush? If it wasn't consensual?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/22 01:24 AM
1

Yeah, I understand that. I said that to my friends. My friends said if he wanted to he would. That he would take the risk if he thought I was worth it.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/22 01:23 AM

I felt like I made a move by saying I wish we had gotten know each other. He said I could always come back. That he is always there and changed it to we're always here really quickly when I looked surprised, I think Idk, people say he seems socially awkward/ weird So, I didn't know if he gave me the brush off. Often when I make the first move I feel like the guy values me less
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/22 01:22 AM
2

And I don't know about someone who only wants validation. It's rare for people to be introspective
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/22 08:53 PM
1

Yeah absolutely Absolutely. If you look up John Gray ( he talks to women) He says, just because it's a need for a guy to listen to you and not problem solve, doesn't mean he knows that. He needs to be told that. So, it's more women than not. Most women don't even know that they should tell that man that's what they need because it's assumed that he knows. I guess that's because it's common in relationships between women
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/22 08:51 PM
1

Not sure
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/22 08:25 PM
2

Listening and not automatically providing a solution. Asking if she wants to vent or wants him to try and help. Or if she wants both. Having a guy just empathize and not try to problem solve is rare. It's not bad that men problem solve. It's an amazing trait. It's just that sometimes women need to just be heard.

Abused people are used to being abused. We accept what we are used to. Most people come from fucked up homes. Most women have daddy issues. So, they seek the familiar But just like when how dad being mean makes you cry, you still seek him because he is what and who you know.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/07/22 06:26 PM
2

No no no no no I'm absolutely obsessed with a man because he is so compassionate. Absolutely want him He hasn't tried to hide his lust for me tho. He is a gentleman But he doesn't act like he wants to just be friends, either
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/22 05:24 PM

Because any quality elder woman will tell you that yes women attract more prospects. More prospects means you need to have " rat filter" High quantity but low quality So dating if you are looking to date seriously is not easier. It's more stressful in a different way
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/22 07:36 PM

Yup
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/22 03:41 AM

No I don't Well that explains that Thank you

So, If I only get hit on by guys clearly practicing pick up techniques ( nervous bla bla) Am I an 8? Guys stare but never approach
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/22 02:55 AM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
