That’s unfortunate, I tried to be truthful in my reasoning and response. I do think you are astute which probably means I’m not seeing something in my responses that my ego is hiding from me so I’ll do some self reflection

To answer your question: I get a lot out of reading people’s experiences in these OYS’s. My story isn’t remarkable or particularly special, nor is my lack of OYS’s indicative of greater knowledge or “badassery” The deficiencies that I have in life aren’t related to women or getting sex, so I didn’t feel I have questions to ask or anything interesting to say. That’s not to say I dont have obvious issues, but they aren’t Rule 0 related. However, I did feel like I had stuff to contribute, which is …

I think it’s great that you have a lot to say but it’s starting to feel like mental masturbation

My brother in Christ, downvote crusade? You are literally doing it again how do you not see this

My point is that your ego got so hurt by a comment from an internet stranger that you not only vomited up an essay validating yourself and questioning his character, you STILL can’t let it go even after admitting he’s right. You come off as simultaneously sniveling and vindictive. If I can feel that across this screen imagine what the people around you in real life feel.

Yeah that porn addict simp dude had a point Say what you will, porn addict simp dude saw right through you. You even HAD to get another shot in while saying he’s right. What does that say about you?

People here will shit in you either because: You obviously didn’t do the reading and your OYS reflects that, or it’s to prod you and see how you react to internet strangers with no skin in the game. If you act this petulant to dudes online who you have never met one can only imagine what it must be like to be your wife and have you as a husband.

Olympic lifts are fun. However, the biggest factor in a strong snatch/C&J is a strong squat. You are currently benching more than you squat, which, let’s all be honest, is an indictment on your lower body and probably posterior chain. You can learn all the techniques you want, but adding pounds to your squat will do infinitely more for your lifts than any technique. Slowdown the Olympics lifts, do something like Starting Strength (swap low bar for high bar /front squats) and do that for a bit, a…

It means that nothing else matters until you lose some weight. Being that heavy is disgusting. Your wife and everyone else sees a nasty fat person and it realistically doesn’t matter how you change mentally and emotionally if physically you’re about as fuckable as roadkill

No, I get that and agree with it. Just seems like the balance has gotten skewed and instead of brutally honest criticism it’s whatever it’s become now

I mean yes, that’s the point. The end goal of redpill is to be a secure man. Every man on the red pill journey starts off as an insecure man.

Well, according to what you wrote you sound like an Adonis. Why not just leave her for an easy upgrade?

Not particularly sure why I should respond when you're being an ass. But in good faith I'll respond this one time. I don't care if you take or respect my advice or not but here it is: It's not about the yelling, it's about WHY you are yelling. It's easy to get mad and yell and get her afraid of you. Hell, she might even fuck the shit outta you. But women are like dogs, they can smell your insecurity and all your yelling and screaming will eventually just look like a petulant teenager who isn't g…

You don't have to be defensive to people here brother, we aren't your wife. Getting mad isn't inherently manly or unmanly. But preplanning ahead of time to get angry is sad. You are trying to be the grown up of the relationship, the rock she can rely on. Instead you are preplanning to get mad at something that could completely be solved like an adult. Feel free to do what you do. But if you aren't here to listen why are you here?

As opposed to “I’m gonna yell at her and she’ll respekt my manly energy”?

I brush my teeth every few days and floss practically never. Legitimately one of the most disgusting things I’ve read here. This is absolute minimum effort stuff. Brush your teeth, people around you KNOW you have bad breath, and yes, they think you’re disgusting too. Good god man.

For sure man, I respect it. If you are curious, I recommend starting strength and/or strong lifts as very effective beginner/intermediate programs

I'm going to try to not get too preachy here, but here goes. So Jeff doesn't actually introduce any new concepts here with that new meta study as it didn't introduce anything the exercise community didn't already know: that the closer you get the failure the more strain it places on your muscles and the more potential growth. However, the issue with that is the fact that the closer you get to failure the more time you need to recover and the more chances for injury. Not only that, but the "bodyb…

If you don’t mind me asking: what’s the routine? I wouldn’t recommend going to failure for everything, just seems like a way to slow down your own progress needlessly. However that depends on the routine.

What's your routine and weights? Do you still do everything to failure?

Thanks for the tip! In the past I've gone the whole SS -> Madcow -> 5/3/1. Basically Linear -> Weekly -> Monthly progression. I'm probably not gonna do 5/3/1 anymore and stick with SS and Madcow when I get enough gains again. Fortunately, I've always trained for strength over hypertrophy so I'm not too worried about that :)

What makes this time any different? hint: nothing Correct. And at the end of the day the only way to prove that is to see the OYS number grow. You don't have the same motivations alot of guys here have - where they have self-determination or a lack-luster sex life. You just aren't broke enough, yet, or you're hiding something. You're not wrong. My life has been easy. Unfortunately an easy life creates a soft man. I may not have hit 'rock bottom', but I want better than what I currently am. My wh…

You are correct. But my issues are worse than being a nice guy. I am a perpetual underachiever, someone who will gaslight themselves into thinking they're hotshit because I was able to spin some plates once upon a time in the past. My number one goal should be to continue the OYS posting and not to give up on it like almost everything else I've actually attempted in my lazy efforts through life. At the end of the day everything I've typed (including this) is all just bullshit until I've put it t…
