Because the alternative in the US is being convicted of a felony, being imprisoned for 5+ years, being fined $250,000, and being barred from getting a passport, federal employment, student aid and, in some states, voting. Lots of men have resisted mandatory military service in Ukraine and have received brutal beatings when captured and forced into military uniforms. We’ve seen the videos of it on this sub.

What a read, but a very well-written one. The first paragraph highlights how the left has done well for some groups of men, but not for men as a whole. They’ve been great voices for black men, gay men, bisexual men, trans men, etc. but fail to be voices and speak on issues that affect the male demographic as a whole. If they do that, they’d win back a lot of men very quickly.

I have a lifelong friend whose dad has always been there for him more than his mom. His mom always berated him about something, told his sister how beautiful she was (while ignoring him or telling him that he was “broey” looking or fat), listened to her, and was always there for her. TheTinMen had a thing on this a while back. He pointed out how Democrats take the male voting bloc for granted, blame us for everything, and otherwise ignore us. In my opinion, though, Republicans aren’t any better. They support traditional gender roles, the male-only draft, and anti-trans bills that are rooted in androphobia. We have to remember that Democrats think we’re privileged, whereas Republicans think we’re disposable.
